flgrThe game mechanics are a bit complex and I'm not sure that I understand them completely. I think you should have made the relation between weapons (like magnets and so on) and resistance meters more obvious. The AI enemies movements and the graphics are a bit weird and for some reason this still isn't all that motivating to play for me. Oh, and I think that in single player mode you should enabled joystick and keyboard controls, because I was a bit surprised to see it use my gamepad.

zogglesVery nice - could do with better AI, but otherwise one of my favourites. - Z [edit]heh just read your post-mortem. Interesting read (not that it makes any difference to how I already voted). Do you plan to develop this game further btw?

Ufo ZThe gamewas fun once I figured out what's going on :) The indirect interaction with the game was really interesting. The enemy AI wasn't very bright but that's okay because this way I had a chance at winning. A good interpretation of the theme.

dumpleInteresting setting. I wish I had more control over my protoplasmoids (maybe not Starcraft-like RTS control, but at least Majesty levels of indirect control)

JaciusIt seems very similar to LiquidWar, but it has a few differences: the ability of the player to directly interact with the protoplasmoids via touching them or using the missile and bomb items; the lack of purpose behind the movement of the protoplasmoids; and the seemingly random behavior of the AI infectatrons. Of course, a game written in 48 hours can't be expected to compete with a game that has had much longer to be developed. But, I would expect something a bit more original. I'm sorry if you had no intent to make a LiquidWar play-alike, but it definitely comes across that way, primarily because of how the protoplasmoids interact with each other: touching allied objects heals, touching enemy objects harms, and if weak enough, the color will be changed to that of the object touching it. These mechanics are exactly the same as LiquidWar's! Perhaps if more focus had been put on the items, and if a more original way of gaining units had been invented, this game would be a good in its own right, rather than a mediocre imitation. The gameplay seems slow, and the AI movement very random (which, statistically and in the game, over time will average out to little or nothing). I wish I could give you a better score, but from what I've seen, it would not be deserved.

TwinnedArakWow! Great job. Good sound and graphics. Great feature set... I didn't try out the multiplayer but the maps, variable # of opponents, demos, inset radar... there's a lot of stuff in here! The instructions made it sound a lot more complicated than necessary. And you forgot to say what the controls were. Maybe the rate at which protoplasmoids get sapped or charged should be slower.

JolleCool thing there are a lot of multiplayer options available in a 48h game...

EndurionDang, if it finds a joystick it wants to use it. And my gamepad is broken... I won the first level but i don't know why. I was actually overrun?

cairnswmNicely rounded off but I didn't find it much fun to play. I think it would have been better at a smaller scale so you can see more of the map at any one time.

randomnineFairly complete with the menu and the different levels. The game itself is somewhat lacking, though.

summakyThe AI players does nothing so in big maps it is longer to finish but it's not more difficult. Couldn't test mutiplayer options though, but I think that LAN or Internet multiplayer would be good.
overall: 3innovation: 3fun: 2graphics: 3sound: 3humor: N/Atheme: 4completeness: 4

wisebedeImpressive amount of work considering the several maps and the multiplayer element. Unfortunately the AI isn't much cop so unless you have friends to sit round your computer with you then you are sunk. Quite imaginative though very samey once you have a foothold on the map. The bonus weapons would make things more interesting if only the computer would fight back. Graphics and sound are adequate, though the presentation is nice. No uninstall option!

GopherWasn't able to test multiplayer, but single player was pretty fun. I like it, kindof like an RTS but with only indirect player influence.
