| flgr | Nice graphics, but some more phases would have been nice. The game feels very slow and because of that doesn't feel very motivating. It would have been better to either give more interaction possibilities to the player or to speed up the mushroom growing. Over all the possibilities this game offers are a bit too limited. Oh, and if you click the bar at the bottom after the game has started you get a runtime error which you can't see because the game's running maximized. | ||||||

| Impossible | Nice graphics and not a bad idea, it just gets boring waiting for the mushrooms to grow. Also as far as I could tell there wasn't much strategy to the game, you just had to hope the rats would eat the poisonous mushrooms. | ||||||

| mrfun | Called by some a modern day picasso, Zoggles proves he's more than a pretty font face today. Armed with VB and an unexplained hate of gophers he masterfully puts together a very original, playable game - although noticably missing was the gopher die anim. With that and some sound this game could spread its software spores to the ends of the earth. | ||||||

Non-rectangular maps would've been nice, since you already have the isometric graphics all done (maybe there are some after level 4, I didn't get further) A small dislike with the gameplay: sometimes there are single empty spaces but the mushrooms just waste their seeds on random occupied spaces, and pretty soon there's no way to infect the empty tile... otherwise, fun! | ||||||

| sinsolent | Simple graphics, but defnitely effective. It reminded me of a retro 8 or 16 bit console. The whole thing looked quite polished, and I liked how there was a screen to explain what to do; I'm sort of lazy about readmes. Innovative game concept, but it kind of falls flat in execution-- the gopher kept stealing my last mushroom, I couldn't even pass Level 1, and I didn't feel like retrying to try a different strategy considering how long I had to wait for the rest of them to grow. The relation to the theme was tangential, unless I missed something. | ||||||

| Jacius | Very cute graphics, and the concept is good, although a bit simple. The end of a level tends to get very slow, when you are trying to get the last few squares, but do not have an active mushroom nearby... you must wait for the gophers to clear a spot, so that you can hopefully lay a spore there, and it can hopefully lay a spore on the last spot... perhaps in future versions, there could be more interesting levels (perhaps some stones, or rotting logs), and maybe very old mushrooms could decay on their own and provide fertilizer for new mushrooms. A nice game in general. | ||||||

Although I see the point is to avoid having blank spots in the field with no "fresh" mushrooms available nearby, there was too much of a random factor for my taste... mainly in the distribution pattern of the spores. It sucks when you have a blank space with only one live mushroom nearby and you use it but a spore doesn't fall on the blank space! | ||||||
