Total score is calculated by averaging all votes for that category, after throwing out the highest and lowest scores. Votes placed by people who didn't submit an entry are also thrown out. If you received less than 5 votes in a category, you get a score of zero in that category.N/A votes are ignored.

flgrI get an "ImportError: No module named pygame" error. You should have produced a binary.

JaciusAn interesting idea, although when I think "Nano" I don't think "countryside." The theme would have been more complete if the board looked like the inside of a body, or even inside of a cell, or something on a smaller scale. Like you noted in the log, it is a bit hard to follow what is going on; I noticed that the numbers in each square change color depending on strength -- this is a start, but I think even more could be done to visualize the strength/power of each square. All those numbers are somewhat of a distraction, and while playing I mostly just tuned them out. It would also help the player understand what is going on to show the process of capturing other territories, so that it looks more like the process that it is, rather than an instantaneous thing. But, I realize this can be more difficult, and that there were time constraints. The random map generation is a very nice touch, as is having AI players (however simple) but still allowing multi-play (on one computer, at least; nice for playing with your family and friends ;)). Again, a more nano-scale look to the map would be more appropriate.

shredwheatseems i can't lose by picking a few squares and then pumping attack strength and speed. seems like a cool concept not quite finished.

summakyIt's hard to tell what's happening just looking at screen. Also I noticed that AI is not very strong as I was able to beat it every time (once I understood what to do) without even have to "spread" (i.e., just changing A N S P attributes).

GopherNot sure if I was missing the strategy but after a while it seemed like I won or lost based on the starting configuration. Very interesting idea, tho, and I had fun for a while

Ufo ZInteresting game... I tried a couple of matches and it seems that the outcome is usually decided in the first two or three moves :) Winning or losing against the AI seemed a bit random, too :) I like the concept though, maybe it should be a bit more clear between turns about what's happening?
