| flgr | Nice GTA-clone, graphics could have been a bit more interesting. One thing I noticed in free play mode is that the collision detection could have been way better: Cars will very soon get stuck in walls and if you exit them you'll also be stuck. Another factor that makes cars quite useless is that they don't rotate enough when you press cursor left / right. It's a nice thing you included multiple weapons and stamina makes running have a purpose. This would have been interesting if there was more to do than run around and kill zombies. Oh, and I get an MSVC++ runtime library buffer overrun error on exit. | ||||||

| Jolle | Do we have a winner here? It's possible ;) The only thing I didn't like was the car bounceing when hitting buildings. Also, I think the katana is superior to both the gun and car. And you should have called the game Grand Slaying Zombie ;) Got a buffer underrun error on quit, but since it was on quit, I wouldn't call it a problem for a 48h game. | ||||||

| dumple | This is a great entry. The green zombie footprints are great (and useful), and the sprays of glowy zombie ooze are very satsisfying. I like the unusual perspective; buildings look good without obscuring the action. Sound is good (needs a good disembowel-y sound for killing the zomies though). The car wasn't as fun as I thought it would be - I kept getting stuck. It would be nice if the streets were a bit wider on the car level, or if (unrealistic physics, but hey, zombie game) the car could turn in place. | ||||||

| TwinnedArak | It's really impressive that this got done in 48 hours! Sound and graphics were good. Story mode and quick action mode: good idea! Car: great idea! running over things is fun... but it was just too hard to drive. Choosing to make it a one-shot-kill game is fine, but the zombie concentration was a little low for that. If it takes me 60 seconds to hunt down a zombie and then 1 second to kill it, it feels like a little bit of an anticlimax... I would either make the zombies harder to kill, or increase their number / shrink the map. | ||||||

| Jacius | You've probably heard this a lot, but the collision response with wall is pretty bad. It highly resembles the collision response from the original GTA, but that isn't a good thing at all. A little rotational force (aka torque) would have been nice, instead of merely bouncing backwards. It also would be easier to steer if you could "turn the wheel" while stopped, to get a greater turning rate. It would also be nice if the level started with a certain number of zombies, and no more appeared. Zombie-ism would still spread from zombie to human with contact, but more zombies wouldn't just pop up out of thin air. Still, the game is pretty fun. The particle effects when you killed somebody (zombie or otherwise) were quite cool, as were the glowing green footsteps of the zombies. The katana was a nice touch, too :) | ||||||

| wisebede | Now this is pretty. A mini grand theft auto. The 3D city looks very nice, though its a shame that the figures and car too don't appear in 3D. Control of the car is very difficult with a big invisible buffy around buildings, and once you get out then you don't seem to be able to move away. Possibly the city is too big. Running from one end to the other can be a drag, though once you enter a 'target rich environment' gunning down an alley full of zombies is very satisfying. I suspect the author mimed the sound effect himself. All credit to him. | ||||||
