The One, the Only, the True Anime Topic!!!

Ranma 1/2 has already got me, it's my favorite series. ^^ Anyway, post what anime and manga you like, chat about it, whatever. 8)

regeneratorizer 07-30-2005 10:16 AM

love anime, whats manga?

blackmyth 07-30-2005 10:19 AM

Anime is the animated shows, manga is the comics, go into a library and ask where the manga is.
EDIT: Wak! Somebody voted Neither!
EDIT 2: Wak again! Two people voted neither!!!

like comics, its just wierd the way japanese ones are read backwords(really confusing)

- Regeneratorizer (start from page one, or 220?)

blackmyth 07-30-2005 10:25 AM

To us it's backward, to them it's regular. I like reading the way they do. ^^

regeneratorizer 07-30-2005 10:28 AM

Anime Rules :D :D
My favorite shows are:
Inuyasha
Lupin the third
and
Yugi'oh

blackmyth 07-30-2005 06:46 PM

Lupin the Third isn't for younger kids however. >_> I've only seen one episode, involving escaping from jail and something about the Statue of Liberty. :?

im 18 and i Agree

blackmyth 08-02-2005 08:42 AM

Have you seen that episode? I remember they were trying to actually MOVE the statue of liberty. I think.. >_> MY memories gone foggy. -Does this mystical movement dance.- Either way, I highly reccomend Ranma 1/2, except to those people who are sensetive about super mild nudity. It's a great series, especially the one about the Umbrella of Love. You would have to read it to see what's so funny.

regeneratorizer 08-02-2005 11:33 AM

iv seen the statue of liberty one....the end of it anyway...

blackmyth 08-02-2005 02:01 PM

Has anybody read 'Crayon Shin Chan' or something like that? Hilarious, but again, not for people sensetive to super mild nudity. Crayon Shin Chan is like... Almost like the simpsons, except it's only one kid, they don't have yellow skin, wierd hair and... A lot more things, but the families are dysfunctional, like each other.

Has no one heard of
Srg. Frog?
It's comedy!

Quote:

"Hey Look! There's an alien!"
*points at wall*
Some walpaper falls, revealing a frog like alien
/How'd you know I was there?\
Or something like that...

blackmyth 08-03-2005 12:49 PM

Erm... I haven't heard of Srg. Frog, but I'll look it up some time. >_>
