What are you listening to?

Generic thread.

I'm listening to "Deaf to all but the Song", Mystia Lorelei's theme.

I'd listen to someone else, but my right earphone is broken, and most of the songs I've downloaded sound terrible without it. :<
(Though this song is awesome)

Right now, as I'm typing this? "Another Rainy Night" by Queensryche. It's OK. Kind of a catchy song.

I don't usually listen to anything. But when I do, it's usually Les Miserables.

Re: What are you listening to?

^Expand your taste in Dream Theater a bit more. Give "A Rite of Passage", "Forsaken", or "Beyond This Life" a try. Also, there are some similar bands (Symphony X, Opeth, Queensryche, and Blind Guardian, namely) that I highly recommend you give a try if you like Dream Theater (although Opeth might be a bit extreme for someone who listens to FOB, no offense).

Regarding Fall Out Boy... I have a hard time not writing an angry rant about them. The only band that's a larger tarnish on the music scene than them, in my opinion (you don't have to agree) is the Jonas Brothers. Bon Jovi, RHCP, and Santana are cool. I haven't heard any of the U2 songs you mentioned, but "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is awesome.

Anyhow, now I'm listening to "The Lotus Eater" by Opeth. Very good song, although it has a kind of creepy vibe. I've also been listening to the BEST SONG EVER, "Otherland" by Blind Guardian a lot recently. The best song ever based on one of the best book series ever.

Shouldn't this be moved into Total Mayhem so that we can't use this thread to increase our post count by over 9000?

Stage 1 - Francis Mechner - Prince of Persia

I've added "The Night" by Disturbed, "Midlife Crisis" by Faith No More, and "Vietnow" & "Bulls On Parade" by Rage Against the Machine into my playlist. They are all awesome songs..

Magnificent and I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight are from their new album No Line on the Horizon. Vertigo was originally on How to Diable an Atomic Bomb, I belive. Its awesome.

Also, I enjoy extreme music. Beat It is overall pretty bad, but the guitar sounds somewhat cool.

Currently:
Through the Fire and Flames -- Dragonforce -- Inhuman Rampage

TTFAF is the only guitar song impossable to play in real life. Dragonforce recorded it at a much slower tempo and sped up the recording. Made me lose respect for them, but the song is still awesome.

I had heard Vertigo before. Good song. I just overlooked it on your list. Also, there are much better power metal bands than DragonForce; try Helloween, HammerFall, Blind Guardian, or Symphony X.

Killswitch Engage= Pwnage
Job For A Cowboy- Pwnage
Pink Floyd= Pwnage
The Fray= Never heard them.
Slipknot= A bit fake. Their singer isn't suited to the kind of music he sings, and their drumming is rather generic despite having 3 drummers.

My current playlist:

"Guerilla Radio"- Rage Against the Machine
"Vietnow"- Rage Against the Machine
"Bulls On Parade"- Rage Against the Machine
"Otherland"- Blind Guardian
"Midlife Crisis"- Faith No More
"Descending"- Lamb of God
"The Night"- Disturbed
"Ten Thousand Fists"- Disturbed
"Meaning of Life"- Disturbed
"To The Fallen Hero"- God Forbid
"Into The Wasteland"- God Forbid
"Cowboys From [Happy Pony Land]"- Pantera
"Madhouse"- Anthrax
"The Deepest Gray"- All That Remains
"I Die In Degrees"- All That Remains

Metal FTW.

Clarify please? If you mean that you're asking about what I said, there are better power metal (basically, metal with fantasy themes and keyboards) than DragonForce, and I said that I had heard Vertigo before. If you are referring to the odd quoting stuff, I just quoted your post. Glitch, I guess.
