No! Fool! YOU are WRONG!! According to the System Internationale (International System of Units (SI)), a Mebibyte (Mega-binary-byte (MiB)) equals 1024 Kibibytes, which each equal 1024 bytes, and a Megabyte equals 1000 Kilobytes, which each equal 1000 bytes. It was changed to cause less confusion with other units in the SI.
