Default Best songs in the world

Hehehe... Say what you think the best sing in the world is!

Mine would have to be "Beheaded 1999" by The Offspring. It's hilarious. But there is blood. Seriously.

3. "Human" By the Killers
4. "How it ends" By devotchka.

Dude, there are so many great songs out there, I'm just going to have to create a list of them [my personal favorites] by artist at some point.

Lately what I've been listening to has been the following:

The Planet Terror theme song [quite amazing!]

The Bad Boys [movie] theme song/ "Main Titles"

Con Air theme

The Rock [movie] theme song

Suede - Film Star

Coldplay - Clocks/Speed of Sound

Finger 11 - Paralyzer

the original Halloween theme song

The Thing [1982] theme song [great horror film, if you can stand it; can be viewed legally if you're old enough on hulu.com]

The Exorcist theme song aka Tubular Bells [I'm going to be searching TB now since searching the first item is too freaky now.]

Return of the Living Dead theme song [quite rockin'!]

"Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.
It's better than all of the ones you people said!

Yes, this. And What is Love by Haddaway.

Also: I like DROD's music... so very... ambient.. and yet energetic too. Energetic music is good.

On that note: They Might Be Giants... although it's impossible to name a single best song from them, I find it preferable to put every song of theirs I have on shuffle... good variety and random insanity there.

As for anime themes: Probably a tossup between the first season of Ranma 1/2's opening theme and... wait for it... Hare Hare Yukai.

And mainstream videogames: Hmm... maybe Super Mario Land's overworld, maybe the Zelda overworld theme... maybe King Dedede's song. Yeah, that'd have to be it. King Dedede FTW.

What can I say, I like my music energetic and fun.

"Pocketful of Sunshine" Natasha Bedingfield (hardly anything aside from the chorus, but I luv it anyway)
"The World should Revolve around Me" Lil' Jackie (indecipherable? Maybe so.)
"Viva La Vida" Coldplay (BRILLIANT!!!!!!)
"Broken" Lifehouse (so sad yet somewhat beautiful)
"Midnight Train to Georgia" Gladys Knight and the Pips (give me one good reason not to luv it!)
"Black Hole Sun" Soundgarden
"So What?" Pink (Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!)
"I Devise my Own Demise" Papa Roach (And of course I remember this band, but this time, nobody else has heard of them!)
"Fake It" Seether
"Is Anybody Home?" Our Lady Peace
"Who can it be Now?" Men at Work
"Back in Black" ACDC (whoo!!!!)
"Everything I'm Not" the Veronicas
(to be continued later...)

'How to Save a Life' by The Fray
'Country Feedback' by REM
'New American Classic' by Taking Back Sunday

I don't think I can limit it down to just one, which is why I posted my favourite three.

I can't believe nobody's suggested video game music yet! Personally, I'm a big fan of the

-Dr. Willy stage's song in Megaman 2

That song is pretty darn epic
