Default the official product suggestion topic

lets face it, the media that is filled with lies. we cant be sure what actually works or not. this topic should help you decide on what to get.

after all, do we not work for this country?
do we not deserve a working air freshener that does not smell like old people?(sorry old people...)
do we not have the right to extinguish lies from the media?

I made this topic because im sick of opening a cerial box and finding 3 flakes and 2 raisens
I made this topic becouse I think we should have the right to get a full bag of chips instead of those half full bags.
I made this topic becouse.. I*dramitic sniff and wiping of eye* I love you..

so whenever there is a slow computer...ill be there.
whenever there is a peice of luggage that falls apart...ill be there
whenever there is a pop tart package with only one tart and three pops...ill be there.

ok enough with the corny speach...

bassicly you credit good products and alert us of bad products..

products like...peanut butter or lawyers or computers.

sadly some of the better products wont be available for the poorer of us..*cough*me*cough*

but i have good news!

I JUST SAVED A BUNCH OF MONEY ON MY CAR INSURANCE BY SWITCHING TO GEICO!( i had to do that...)

speaking of that....add car insurance to the list of things too....

good things: http://www.confused.com
Its great for car insurance quotes - well, it is in Britain anyway, I'm not sure about the rest of the world. It gets quotes from everyone for you & lists them all - saves a lot of time

Bad things: the "travellers" who have parked up on the unit opposite my building who are dumping all their rubbish & tree cuttings etc etc everywhere

ok I know they aren't a product but needed a little rant about them!

Question: WHY ARE INSURANCE ADVERTS SO STUPID? Especially the Esure.com ones. He dresses up as his own wife! I want to slam my head against the wall whenever I see that ad. (Although changing channels might be more effective.)

Well.....in England, at least you dont see the Geico ads in the US...The early ones were really silly..."People do dumb things....(guy pulls string tied to 1 ton (USA) weight hovering over him, and it drops on him)...good thing paying for car insurance doesnt have to be.."

Or the new ones with the talking Gecko (play off of Geico) it started with
people calling the Gecko insted of Geico....Silly..but it turned into a multi-million dollar (US currency), business!

Ducky, I can't believe you felt the need to mention the GEICO gecko, when everyone knows that YOU are the star of the AFLAC commercials!

Well...Aflak is suplimental health insurance, and Geico is car insurance...
I have to give us minority working animals (Cats and Dogs get the best jobs), some time in the Hamumu spotlight....

I mean the Budwieser Frogs CAME from my pond! But did they EVER mention good ol' Ducky? Nope! I pratically pushed them through the door for the audition. They kept says things like, "No one wants a frog for beer" or "This is silly! We are 4 inches tall! The Clydesdales were HUGE! We are nothing like them!"

Well, I told them to just try out....what did they have to lose, eh? Well, they were INSTANT hits! All they had to do was sit there, mutter ONE word
spread over the 3 of them..and they did it perfect!

Well, over the months they did commercial after commercial...non-stop...did they EVER send a note to the pond? Nope.
One "Thank you"? Nope?

Well, I got the last laugh! They burned out so hard....eating only the best flys....drinking imported water...well little did they know, thier' agent
embezzled all their' money...and now they can't get ANY work...they are typecast into the "Budweiser Frogs". No one knows them any other way now.

- Ducky (Ok, who took my lime seltzer? NO! It is NOT alcoholic. Ever.)

It's very sad, too, when you consider that it takes three frogs to utter one 3 syllable word. Ducks are so much more talented. That AFLAC duck can do a 2 syllable word all by himself. It's a darn shame that there is so much discrimination against ducks!

We have a product which is advertised by a duck! Who flies a plane!! Although it is for Duck toilet cleaner! lol!

Clever duck though for being able to fly that plane - and he flies it around the bathroom and fires the cleaner into the bowl of the toilet spot on target, doesn't miss a bit! no drips! - and hey, I guess everyone needs to clean their toilets!

We have "Toilet Duck" here too. In fact, thats my cousin! But...on a sad note, he can't fly on his own. One of his wings was clipped on a vacation we took in Alabama. Those hunters can shoot down there, I tell you.
So...after that, we got him in a rehabilitation center, and they had this great program called "Wings For Waterfowls". They put him in a specially fitted plane so it take one wing to fly and he uses his foot to fire the cannons. Well, he did so well, he started doing stunt shows and he got discovered by a talent agent in the crowds durring one of his shows shortly after. And the rest is television history!
