That one is actyually a good one! But macking him paranoid or naive instead of normal is just Evil. You go from Possiable help, to no help at all!

Robot (mafia):His laser beam can go right through a bodyguard so that it will kill both the bodyguard and the bodyguard-protected
Mirror: everybody exept the bodyguard has one mirror so if a robot atacks them and they are not a bodyguard the robot will kill himself instead

He can't be night-killed, lynched, or even vote, because nobody can see if he's raised his hand. Sits around feling depressed for the whole game.

Were-mafia
During day, if he's killed, he turns up town. At night, he takes part in the mafia discussions through PMs from and to the host. He never knows who the mafia are, but he is expected to act like one at night.

I have an invisible man in Heroes mafia, but he's a little more interesting than that (the rules for Heroes are fairly different, so don't worry too much about how this is balanced for mafia, but actually I think it would be just fine):

INVISIBLE BRITISH GUY ("Claude Rains")
You have the ability to become invisible! To do so, simply do not post anything for the entire day. As long as you do this, you will be invisible and no powers may target you (that day or the following night). When invisible, you can still be voted out, but it takes 75% of the players voting against you to detect you, 50% is not enough (rounded down, so you can never be 100% safe).

I think that's fun, because he has to lurk to do it, which makes him suspicious. And when people start suspecting him, he gets all antsy and finally explodes and says "I'm just trying to be invisible!", and bam! Nightkill.

Ooh. Nice one, Jamul. An everythingproof townie that has to post nothing to activate his power. If there's a doc though, he could come right out with a roleclaim on day 1, ask for the doc to protect him that day (and maybe for the cop to inspect him while he has the chance), then become invisible the rest of the game unless he needs to act. A note to anyone who would make a were-mafia: If they win with the town, don't make them become real mafia after they betray their "friends". Please don't.

Of course you would betray them. The key is being careful in doing so, and figuring out who they are.

I liked that role - I find it interesting when the host gives the players an optional side-goal type thing in order to aid them with their normal win goal. PK was just talking about one last night- A secret agent that had optional missions every day. The first mission was to act like a dog and the second was to get the other players to count down from 10 to 0 in order and in separate posts (but the agent died before getting any more missions). Each time he completed a mission he got a special item.
