I think you may already be able to do this with mathimatical lingo and such, but perhaps a special command in the SwC editor that allows you to check things relative to other things. Example:

If [MONSTER] is in relative position [CO-ORDINATE] to Player,

[EFFECT]

It would open up a LOT of posibilities, and if Jamuls reading this, Ive thought about it for a while, and yah. again, it can probably already be done with wierd mumbo jumbo, but a simpler way would be awsome.

To Connor and all other SWC players,

Jamul has repeatedly stated that SWC will never be updated.

Anyhow, custom avatars and custom titles are just as likely to be abused as sigs and even the forum itself! For instance, someone could put pr0n in their avatar and title, yes, but they could also put it in their sig, a post, or their user information! See my point? Also, purchasing anything mod-related is a horrendous idea.

Why do people keep suggesting these awful give-self-mod-powers-for-YB things!?!? They'd be abused extremely and should never ever be created!!!

I got this idea today that there should be a Hamumu Podcast: it could be a combination of talk, humor, tricks, etc. that Jamul and people from the forum could make.

What I'd appreciate more would be some sort of commenting system on add-on worlds, like Journal comments; a system like that would probably encourage more people to actually write (short) world review and state their opinion about worlds (all of which can already be done in the forum, but very few people are doing it -o_-o).
Or at least some sort of world description or a screenshot or whatever would be good, so people will at least know approximately what they're downloading. The fact that all that is displayed about an add-on world is its name has always annoyed me somewhat, as you can rarely tell what to expect before downloading stuff this way, and especially for modem users, downloading add-on worlds that afterwards turn out to not at all be what the user was expecting and weren't worth the download can be annoying.
Yeah, that's good, too. But maybe people would just post, some smilies which won't really give you some Hints about that world. But I hope that people won't SPAM in Comments.

Jamul if you read this (what you surely do), keep this idea in your head, because it isn't impossible or as bad as many other ideas in this Thread.

It would also hurt the feelings of builders with low ratings so they don't build any more and get better at it. Not to mention that everybody's tastes are different, so clever puzzly worlds would get low ratings from people who just like levels with max ammo and beating up a boss while the boss worlds would get low ratings from the puzzle-liking people. You wouldn't get a very accurate way to see which worlds you would like or not.

That's why you have ratings broken down into puzzles, story, etc. I suppose you might get messages full of 'Your world is rubbish!11!!1!!!1' comments, so maybe there shouldn't be comments. But without ratings, you have no idea how a world is going to be.

Another idea might be that specific worlds are chosen as high-quality, and you can view only these ones.

Maybe the WTG or Jamul could make some Comments on the world! The WTG played every world, so he could make a Comment on every world.

Problem is, there are so many worlds out there already, they have to comment on all of them first before doing so for new worlds!

'Chosen' by whom is what I'm wondering here. One person's opinion would hardly apply to everyone. All a 'feature' like that would tell you is which worlds the person that is responsible for choosing 'high-quality' worlds likes.
In the end, I still think a short description of the world and maybe a picture or two to show you what to expect would work best (and it shouldn't even be that hard to do; heck, I've seen freeware games with online add-on libraries that contained more information about the actual add-ons than Hamumu's add-on library does).

EDIT: Meh, just noticed how old that post is. Oh well.

Comments? Aren't some of them on the Hamumu Wiki already?
