Hmm, color-swapped Order Knights. Guess there might be some multiplayer in the game after all.

I thought it was planned as almost entirely multiplayer. In fact, see whichever Behind the Dumb has the bit about patching the game half-way through a match.

Oh, also you can now place bunnies on the map. You have to click and drag them on though.

EDIT: WHOO! 4000th post! /dance

Updates from Episode 8:

*Those tiles in the current version of Tactics will actually exist in the real game (What happened to the 3D tiles, man?)
*The level editor will be the first thing to be finished (before Jamul himself makes some levels of his own as part of some sort of tutorial levels that teach the basics of the game)

Wow, Jamul can do anything with two monitors!

Got ideas, however outlandish, of what you'd like to see on the show? I wouldn't object to hearing them via any of the many vehicles for commentary that this website provides you! I worry about just continuing to show that same shot of me at my desk, blabbing on about programming. It would be nice to spice things up.
How about some Special Guest Stars? Jamul can do more goofy voices, or he can have Sol and the pets on.

Every good show needs a show within a show! What kind of show? That's right. A puppet show.

I don't really think Jamul should a price tag on LL Tactics because it's a Flash game, and I don't that Flash games deserve to have a price tag on their heads (that, and it doesn't make sense since you can't download them or keep them on a CD). Besides, the only requirement that it should have is a Dumb Account.

???

He needs to make money somehow. We already got Short Fuse 2 as a Flash freebie.

I'm hoping he makes it worth $10-20.

I'd think it'd be something along the lines of Costume Party's system.

Flash or no flash, it's a game. Though I admit I actually prefer download games to online Flash ones. Maybe there's a way he can make it full screen?

I'm hoping more along the lines of $20-30. I want it to be a fairly large game with an hour or so of it's own gameplay (rather than relying on player-made ones). It's okay to HAVE player-made levels, but they shouldn't be the centre of the game. The same reason which I will never buy Costume Party.

Sorry, NeedBrains, he already confirmed in BTD #2 that the game would be based on player made levels, probably in addition to the ones he'll make himself.

I'd also prefer a focus on Jamul-generated levels, but that doesn't seem to be the way he's going.

If there's a bunch he did himself, great.
If there's only a few here and there like there is in CP, .

Reason: I'M NOT PLAYING THROUGH PAGES OF BAD LEVELS TO FIND THE ODD GOOD ONE!

That's why CP has a rating system and the ability to sort by rating... and hundreds upon hundreds of levels that are far better than I could make!

(not to mention lots by me!)

Problem solved, I bet LL: Tactics will probably have the same level rating system as Costume Party so players won't get bum-rushed.

Okay, I just had to ask this, but: What happened to Behind the Dumb, man!? Or, more specifically, what's going to happen to it?

There's a brief hiatus while the site takes up most of the time. I'm still working on the game, but that is also slow. The site is absolutely needed right now, so it's gonna stay on top. I would like to keep BTD flowing, but I don't know when the next one will actually be able to be. It's hard to do much when there's hardly anything going on in the game!

I know BTD is still on hiatus, but someone ought to be updating the LL Tactics page on the Hamumu wikia with the recent info on the faction units.
