How was Michael Jackson an "awful person"? If you still believe the child molestation charges (the reason most people dislike him), the person who originally pressed the charges admitted after Michael Jackson's death that he was attempting to extort Michael.

How is becoming the most popular songwriter ever wasting potential?

I loved Michael Jackson's music, but the person behind the music was kinda...iffy.

I've also heard "natural causes" to mean dieing of a sickness. It's natural to die of a sickness, so it's not exclusively "dieing of old age." This would make someone 28 years old MUCH more likely to die of natural causes.

Knowing the person in question, it was most likely drug overdose or drug-induced illness. The Rev was a great drummer, but he pretty much lived with a deathwish.

Unfortunately, like many rock and roll icons. Drugs seem to run in the business. It's a shame really.

I'm sorry for your loss. I have not experienced a parent's death firsthand, and I would hate it if I had to.

Let's hope you never do. It's not a pleasant experience...
