Default Re: Boycotting CartoonNetwork

as shows are concerned, I never got into any cartoonnetwork and Nick stuff because over here in Canada we don't have any of each station (And if we do, it's sapping it off of the USA) And with that is a price to pay. The shows on teletoon were awesome (Although are quickly degrading in quality, I believe that foster's home was the last good show i've seen on that channel) but sadly the ones on family channel were all something to be desired. Still there was like weekenders and later on The emporer's new school but they were still bogged down by that educational crap. And then of course there's YTV, a full canadian channel, although I don't really remember it having anything memorable except Yvon of the Yukon and the only reason I remember that is because it was laughably bad and there were those two really annoying MCs that would appear at commercial break called carlos and sugar or something (I think carlos is still around, eww) but either than that all It did was show really weird nick shows, like spongebob and Invader Zim (The latter is the only reason I tuned in to YTV) I think I remember liking Megas XLR, Dave The Barbarian, Invader Zim, Samurai Jack, and like 1 or 2 more I don't remember the name of.

A few years back, YTV had a couple hours where they'd just show anime like Naruto and FMA, but they've since stopped.

I remember those days. The only show that I watched regularly was Spongebob and Dave the Barbarian. Still, I got older and I sort of lost interest...

Oh, and Sugar was cool. Even though she sounded like she was constantly on a sugar high.

I watched that all the time when I was younger. Every friday night. It was my motivation to get through the week. Now, it's just re-runs of old Naruto episodes. Actually, I think they're only showing Naruto now, and only one or two shows every friday.

Yeah, I think it can be partially blamed for how much of an otaku I am now I mean, there were some really good anime there, not that I watch anime in english anymore...
