Default Pony Detector

Hey guys, I am using a program called Arduino to make a pony detector. So whenever a pony appears, it will flash ect. And its working! So I want to know, do any of you guys have an Arduino? Oh, and i could mabye make one for you, but you would have to pay for the parts and postage. I will put up some pics soon!

But Arduino isn't a program, I thought, it's a circuit board? Congrats anyway, I'd be interested to hear how you detect ponies and how you let the circuit board know, as I happen to own one of those TI Launchpad things.

Hey, thats cool. But you can moniter the chat in the middle of the night. What i can do here is just plug it in and then when a pony appears the wee LED will flash. To SM, arduino is a breadboard with a USB cord to plug into a computer where you can put a program onto it.

The ardunio is not the first thing I would think of to try this with. How does it connect to the web?

I believe Gigacat just mentioned that the Arduino maintains a constant connection with the computer, which actually does the business of figuring when a pony is there, and just tells the Arduino to start flashing.

Yup, SM is on the ball with that. And the thing is, I got the Arduino for a christmas present, and its probably one of the best ive got, apart perhaps from Costume Party
