I get something like those but they send e-mail addresses instead of numbers. If it was numbers, I'd send it to the FBI!
No bueno.

Funny you should mention that one. Somehow it managed to make it through my spam filters earlier today. Now I am really disappointed. It looks like they decided to let that third party in after all, and you are the third party.

At least we can all learn an important lesson from this: you cannot trust anyone in your own country, but you can trust anyone who owns an e-mail address anywhere else, whether you know them or not.

Default Junk senders email addresses

One point to be aware of is that spam emails are usually from fake email addresses but sometimes they spoof harvested email addresses. So in this case you may get a spam email from something like Jamul's address.
I used a separate email address for junk a while ago and one day I had hundreds of bounce emails in there. Sounds like some kind person decided to spoof my address for their junk!

Default Scam Baiting

Oh, on the subject of these money scams, there's a group called Scam Baiters. It's a kind of internet bloodsport where the participants take great delight in baiting the scammers to make them think they're gonna go through with the transaction but there's something the scammer must do first. e.g. convince the scammer that you will be sending him the 10,000 but there's a release fee. Scammers have been known to pay this if they are convinced! It's worth Googling for Scam Baiting - there's some great stories including this one http://tinyurl.com/ep98q
