well if you share you username /and or/ password, then you're clearly out of wits. Technically one should have a personal account.

You misunderstand. Blackexe was IP banned, so any family members using that computer would be unable to visit the Hamumu forums.

Philosophical question: if everyone on this forum was about my age or older (17), would you be more lenient? Is the only reason the rule about swearing is here because there are younger kids present?

There are many people who find swearing offensive. Such rules are not put in to place solely to avoid corrupting young people, but rather to make the environment more pleasant for everyone involved.

Swearing rules pertain to the fact that this is a family-friendly game site. When people come by here, they need to see that nothing is here to offend them, that the games and environment are both suitable for ALL people. Otherwise, I'm just shrinking my potential market down for no reason. I'll gladly admit that is a pure business decision. There's no swearing because I want as many customers as possible!

I can't imagine too many people saying "I'm outta here, there are no curse words on the entire site!", while I can easily imagine some people saying "Avert your eyes!!! The horror!! The horror!" when confronted with some.

I for one wouldn't still be here if people were swearing all over the place.

I wouldn't really mind foulsome language in itself, but as far as I've seen, forums that allow swearing and so on end up with people assuming that if they can swear, then they can do whatever pointless or offensive (as in mean-spirited) stuff they want.

If it's not suitable for public posting, it's not appropriate for open discussion. Nobody needs to know. Get over it.

I wish the people around me were more like that. I can't get away from curses, and being a Christian, I seriously don't appreciate it. I agree with AtkinsSJ, I would bet all the money I have, (though not much) that it probably doesn't make them feel any better.

Neither would I, and I have to admit, if it weren't for you guys here (The Anti-Spammers, that is) I might not have even bought the full version of Supreme. If you all had negative attitudes, I would probably think that playing the game would make me the same. But thankfully, it hasn't.

I'm okay with harmless spam, but some people need to realize just what that is.
