Default Song suggestions

I might get to put on an acoustic performance at my high school at a before school event, and am looking for 1-2 more songs to fill out my set. The songs must sound good with 1 acoustic guitar and a vocalist. Since I attend a Catholic high school, they can't be overtly explicit either. Also, no country.

So far, I have

Rise Against- "Hero of War"
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer- "Lucky Man"
Super Mario Bros. Theme
The Legend of Zelda Overworld Theme

And am considering

Collective Soul- "The World I Know"
Live- "I Alone"
Live- "All Over You"
AFI- "Totalimmortal"

The first song that came to my head was that song that starts "Sometimes I feel like I need a vacation, sometimes I feel like I wanna go, to the city I live in, City of Angels...". I don't remember the rest, but if you do, then it might be good, since the first part I think is played on acoustic with 1 singer.

Green Day - Good Riddance (TIme of your life)
Frank Turner - [almost anything really, because HE sounds good just him and his guitar, but here:] Photosynthesis

In reality, a lot of songs done with a full band sound good with an acoustic guitar and vocals only, but those are two that I like that actually ARE that way (Photosynthesis not so much, it was recorded with a band, but he played it live just him and I loved it )

And if you want to really have some fun, do Totalimmortal by AFI acoustic, it'll sound neat AND make people wonder "what... is... this...?"

EDIT: For reference,
Totalimmortal acoustic (no vocals) http://wombat.platymuus.com/ytembed/?code=GKKEVHUsVGo
Totalimmortal non-acoustic (w/vocals) http://wombat.platymuus.com/ytembed/?code=2EC5kqUlFLc
Good Riddance(live, the record version has a bit in the pre-intro that isn't quite appropriate here) http://wombat.platymuus.com/ytembed/?code=otXzaqbhZY4
Photosynthesis http://wombat.platymuus.com/ytembed/?code=mQMVHhxTtLc

Personally I think you should definitely do Totalimmortal, it would be hilarious

EDIT 2:

Modest Mouse - Bankrupt on Selling. FTW.

I do not know much about that concert, so this suggestion might be horrible, as much as it might be awesome.

That's "Under the Bridge" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I actually do know how to play it, but it requires a large pinky stretch that I'm incapable of doing at the moment.

As for "Good Riddance", I don't care too much for Green Day. "Mr. Roboto" is, IIRC, very synth-driven, and thus a bad choice for an acoustic performance. I'll consider "Totalimmortal".

Somewhere in the Between - Streetlight Manifesto
All the Streetlight Manifesto songs are written for acoustic guitar, so it sounds good and should be appropriate for the event. It doesn't sound too hard to play, but I don't play guitar, so I can't say for sure.

I found an album called 11:11 by a couple of acoustic players from Mexico (Rodrigo y Gabriela). Some of their stuff is pretty cool, but I don't know how it would be to learn.

You might want to look into Hora Zero, Hanuman, Buster Voodoo, or Santo Domingo.

EDIT: I think they also have a version of Stairway to Heaven in an older album, not sure what the album's name is though.

I'm fairly sure that "Wish You Were Here" is played on acoustic guitar, and, at least the main riff, is easy to learn.

I can only bring an acoustic guitar. Also, I'm a pretty straightforward rock-and-metal guy, so nothing too far outside that (blues, reggae, and Bob Dylan-esque folk are fine, foreign folk, jazz, country, pop, etc. are not).

I'll consider Streetlight Manifesto and Dire Straits, though.
