If you do include source, then you need to get rid of the copyright.

No. You can copyright the source. It means nobody is allowed to use it in their program without permission. You can still look to see how it's done.

When you click File>Save, it should automatically be in the folder that contains all the other levels (it's the map2 folder in your Castle Smash directory).

The next version will come by... Wednesday at latest. I promise. Then maybe I'll start on a C# version of the program (so it will load faster).
P.S. I didn't get a chance to see Gannstboy's post, but most likely he tried to say he made cave.txt. That is true. |

The Editor crashes when I open it.

I just want to take this moment to express my gratitude for the fact that you (SpaceManiac) put forth the effort to make this cool editor for one of the more obscure Hamumu games! Keep it up, and know that it's really appreciated around here!
And everybody else, please remember that there is a specific topic to each thread, and you need be talking about that topic if you are posting in it! |

Ok, I managed to get the editor to work. But I don't like how we put everything one tile by one. Could you make it so we can simply hold left button or put a "Fill" button?

Actually, if you look in the help, it's click the right button once while holding the left button, then drag with the left.

![]() Here's an exclusive sneak peek of Castle Smash Map Editor v1.3 (or 2.0, I haven't decided which)! I am using C# this time; compiled programs run faster. Last edited by SpaceManiac; 11-13-2007 at 04:18 PM. |
