I'm frigid! I'm in Amarillo, by the way. Probably not far from Christian.

It's freezing here too. Yesterday some kids were SKATING to school the road/sidewalks was/were so icy. I'm not kidding. Sigh...no snow day though. Oh, and it was cold today as well. It's mostly ice though, we have almost no snow at all.

EDIT:Maybe this should be made a separate topic. Then again, that's only needed if more people post.

EDIT2:Hooray! My Opinion mattered!

EDIT3:My 200th post!

Our snow still hasn't entirely melted away, and it came down over a week ago (and wasn't even an inch thick)! It gets into the teens at night, and every morning we have to crack through the solid inch of ice on top of our dogs' water.

0_0 I remember one time, it got so cold, that my HOT tub froze! The water just turned into solid ice. Not kidding. We had to get an enourmous hammer and bash through it. Now I know how Bouapha feels, having to whack all those ice monsters. Then we had to empty it, and replace the water.

I'm near the Dallas metroplex, so we're pretty far apart since Texas is so big. Still, YAY! Another Texan! But I think Amarillo is always colder than Dallas.

No snow yet. It's normally around February when we get some.
It's 11°C at the moment, according to Google.

It's been extremely warm winter. Hardly any snow. But today was icy and cold (28 F/-2 °C).

PS Still remember the winter a couple of years ago. It was freezing! (-20 °C)

It's not cold here yet (apparently it will start next week) we have had a very mild winter so far. The problem we do have at the moment is the wind. At least 13 people in Britain were killed yesterday by the wind. It has caused chaos with travel with trees and trucks blowing over. It took someone we know 9 and a half hours to get home last night (should have been one hour) because of all the problems on the road. It was very powerful yesterday & pretty scary.

Yeah, the wind was terrific yesterday.
Walking home from school in the gusty winds wasn't the best part of the day.
ALong just 1 road, I counted over 34 wheely-bins fallen over and scattered everywhere.

Sorry, what I meant, as you can now see by my correction, is wheely-bins.

I envy susan, that's warm! Here, it was 0-13 the last week, but it's just warmed up enough to make going out tolerable.

Err ... I don't know what a wheely-bin is either, unless it's a trash can on wheels. Am I close?? It must be the language barrier!
