That'd just result in stretching, wouldn't it?

In this case, it results in shrinking.....

And you can put rectangles on spheres, but you need to distort them for them to show correctly.

1. I used Hi-res textures so that you wouldn't notice. (I can also change the scale)
2. There is an option that allows you to use a rectangular texture and perfectly map it to a tube, sphere, cube, or cylinder.

Sorry about the double posting, but my ICBM launcher came in the mail! Check out the pic:

Atkins' moon base and the stupid reformed English language will be no more! Hurray!

I am now targeting the moon. Now to start the long process of loading the ICBMs in.

Why bother? Atkins gave up Hamumu and gave it back to Jamul so I dont see the problem with him anymore.

Hmm. What if I sincerely joined Atkins? I guess he did return Hamumu software. I could help him build his base! Maybe I could add my ICBM launcher so that we could defend against an alien invasion! I have officially moved.

You could be my assataint! Im currently working on a more reliable power supply. The base currently has a reacter that is ready to go critical and I want it out as soon as possiable.If you could design a much safer one...

Perhaps you would like my Cannon power supply? It used to be a UPS until the government shut down my connection to the local power lines then I had to switch to a nuclear powered reactor. It can sustain the moon base and still have 85% of it's power left for expansion! It even has a separate power supply area for the cannon that can launch one ICBM per 10 minutes. Good for large targets! (My cannon comes with adding parts to the ship and becomes Atkins' property as long as he gives me credit) I think this should sustain it. I have performed many tests and it seems to be very stable. It should run out of power in approximately 1450 years. (I "borrowed" uranium) NOTE: The blue part is actually the night sky reflecting off the metal and the clear parts are complicated fluids in column like containers set up so that they will cool the system. On top of the coolant, there is a console that you can safely shut down and turn on the plant with. All nuclear waste will automatically be jettisoned into space to a safe area that will eventually lead to another galaxy via cannon.

Very Good Job! I will implement that into the moon base as soon as possible. Ill PM you If I need more blueprints. One Question however. how long will the Uraniam last before its needs to be replaced?

The uranium will last 40 days until a new supply is needed but there is a safety feature that allows 10 days before release just in case but do not let it run on the emergency 10 days unless there are dire circumstances. Here is a more clear image.

Sorry to ruin it for both of you, but I'm not entirely keen on hiring people who have either traitorisinated, or openly declared war on me previously. That is a very cool power supply thingy, though.
As this is my Moon base, it is obviously powered by thousands of hamsters, in little wheels. I'm working on genetically engineering them so they don't need feeding. Hey, maybe they could photosynthesise! Groovy.
