Default Any 8-12 year olds out there; I need help!

So, I usually tutor some 8-12 year old kids on Friday, because I'm always done with my work. We do random things each friday, from singing along to "Re: Your Brains" on my guitar, to Origami.

Anyways, this Friday I promised to bring in some of my sketches and have them work on a drawing. I'm trying desperately to find something to have them draw, but failing miserably.

So..... What are some popular television shows for 8-12 year olds? I usually draw Anime, like Yu Yu Hakusho or FLCL or something, but I know these kids have no interest in anime like that. I DO know that they watch Cartoon Network, so anything from there is good.

Thanks! Now, off to bed! I'm already 3 hours behind on my sleep, and I'm gonna pay for it in the morning...

As an eleven year old... SPONGEBOB!

As for myself, I hate him - Can't stand him. But my friends like him.

Hmm. I don't fit into the category, but you could try just making something random up, and getting them to draw it. For instance, yesterday I drew a gnome wearing a cardigan.

Oh, and Spongebob is awesome Roland. I'm very disappointed in you.

There IS anime on Cartoon Network... just the english dubs of all the very popular series. But if you want something anime-style, there is a show called Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon, and it took a lot of its animation tips from Japan.

I know somebody who watches this weird show called Hi Hi puffamiyumi... Who the heck knows what that show is!

However, for a cartooning class I did at my school, we ended up drawing characters from Teen Titans. Here's another hint for a certain cartoon.

* <that's the clue)

Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi is a show about a girl band. The two band members are Ami & Yumi. They, with their manager, Kaz, go on all kinds of crazy adventures. It's a pretty good show.

What's wrong with Yu Yu? Urameshi did help out a bunch of kids in the first few books.
