Default Portal!

awww man this game looks amazing! i dont have it but ive played the flash versoin so ill iterate on that:
ive beaten it and i reallty liked it but there wwere a lot of bugs and glitches.
also on the console:
createbox: creates a box. fun to play with
Createturret:self-explanitory
god:invincible
noclip:fly through walls
gravity ###:change the gravity WARNING: if you go over bout 100000 you will continually die

but i did this cool trick: go to the cake lvl and turn on god and noclip, turn the gravity ridiculusly high, and create boxes and turrets in different places: the result: a kalidescopic-like effect.

The Flash version is nothing like the actual version... and the actual version is packaged with an M-rated game.

BAH! NINJA'D! I was going to make a Portal topic!

THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!!!!

I LOVE THIS GAME. You must get it. It is awesome. In fact, the whole Orange Box is awesome. Three new games; Half-Life2 EP2, Portal, and TF2, and two old-ish games, Half-life2 and Half-Life2 EP1. Thats 5 games for the price of one!

Half-life 2 is amazing. Very, very fun. Especially Ravenholm. If you don't get so scared you somehow break your computer, its an AWESOME level. Best level of the game, I'd say. Final boss is a bit disapointing, I expected some huge alien monster or something, but still, a good boss. The soundtrack is also amazing. Graphics are INCREDIBLY good for a game that old.

I have only played one round of TF2(Team-Fortress 2). It seems incredibly goofy, and possibly fun, but I didn't get much into it to find out. Graphics aren't incredible, but aren't bad, either. Same goes for music.(Based on what I've seen and heard)

HL2EP1 is good, also. Possibly as good as the original, though my computer is so old, I get an error every hour forcing me to close the game, so I can't play it that much. From what I've played, though, I like it.

HL2EP2 - I have no idea. Haven't played it yet, though it promises to be amazing. I also have heard it has a reference to Aperture Science, the place in Portal.

Now, on to Portal. Pure. Awesome. Portal. Oh, yeah. Best game in the whole package! It completely fulfills, with the dark and subtle-ish humor, CAKE, the awesome music, CAKE, the awesome puzzle-like gameplay, CAKE, and if the CAKE wasn't enough, JONATHAN COULTON!

JONATHAN.... COULTON! Oh yeah! The icing on the CAKE! He makes the ending credits song, which is so awesome, I have three versions of it on my MP3 player. He doesn't sing it, which is really a bummer, but GLaDOS does a good job of singing it, and it definitely feels like a Coulton song. It also perfectly matches the tone of the game, and makes you laugh a few times. A hint though: Wait until you actually finish the game to listen to it! It makes no sense if you don't.

You will be baked, and then there will be cake.

Anyways, Portal is pure awesomeness. But it. NOW! The hypno-toad compels you.

i want to get the orange box
anyway, I have the half-life 2 demo and ravenholm scared me, i wasnt even expecting that half life would have a level like that.
im not really interested in TF2
Portal is what i want to play the most, imma try that other game[supposedly also with portals]
i have the still alive MP3 and i understand the song even though i hagent played it.
from what ive heard ther has to do something with cake but dont spoil it for me plz

"Didn't we have some fun, though. Remember that time whe nthe platform was sliding into the fire pit and i was like "goodbye" and you were like "NO WAY" and then i was like "We were just pretending we were going to murder you". That was great."

"That thing is probably some sort of raw sewege container. Go ahead and rub your face all over it!."

"Is that a gun. Do you smell something burning. Oohh that thing has numbers on it!"

Lol

It will let you loop forever, and the point of the game is that you can't jump!

The only "game hiccup" I've seen is that my sound goes very strange, thought i thought that wasn't universal.

I've found stuff sometimes disappears, and I never could find the turtle. Perhaps time to upgrade my computer. Plus, having to start from the game's beginning each time is bad.

Well, my parents wouldn't ever get it for me. They don't like FPS's, so I'll have to get it myself. But I'll just get HL2:Orange box. That'll work :P

Wouldn't make more sense to buy it seperatly, if your parents don't like FPSs?

You can get it in computer game shops. But bear in mind the orange box is 15-rated.
