Question Changing Monsters

Hey, I'm a noob when it comes to the fourms and whatnot here but I've know Hamumu for a couple of years, for example, I've bought StockBoy, Pumpkin Pop, Looneyland, Amazin' SISPOPD', & Supreme With Cheese. Anyway, I've found monsters in add-on worlds like the Lava Zoomers, where they've taken a moster (in this case the Loony Zoomer) and changed it's AI and colour in the level editior somehow to make it have differen't attacks and effects. Wondering if anyone could tell me how to do that kind of thing

You use the special effect Monster AI to change the AI of one monster to the AI of another monster.

ElMikkino: But if there isn't any AI option, the Lava Zoomer would appear as a normal Loony Zoomer!

That trick can also be used to let the player control some other monster if you change the AI of a monster to AI "Bouapha". You have to change the AI of the first Bouapha to something else, then destroy it, otherwise you control both the enemy and Bouapha. Note, though, that the you control the monster just like you would control Bouapha. (e.g. throwing hammers, using items, etc.) Usually the only difference is the looks and max life.

You can use a special with:
Time 0.00 after 0.00 elapse
Uses 1
Change Bouapha to The Monster
Change AI of the Monster to Bouapha
Play as ... (Luna Chick, Stupid Shroom)
(you can also change the color, etc. of the monster)

Monsters without an attack animation like the Buddy Bunny won't be able to use special weapons.

That is an recolored Loony Zoomer. If you go in the editor and creates an special, you will see this:

Trigger:

|Trigger

|Trigger

Uses "1"

Effects:
_______________________________________________
|Effect
_______________________________________________
|Effect

|Effect

|Effect

|Effect

Then Click on Effect an a row will appear. There you see
all the Effects.
At the Bottom of the row you see:

...
Change AI
Change Name
Change Color
Change Bright
...

With those Change Specials you can change the AI, Color of Monsters. So you are able to create you own monsters.

I hope this description helps.

EDIT: Thanks, Julian!
