Default New wireless mouse!

Woot! Believe it or not, all I had before this was corded ones! Now I can finally play SWC (I have a wireless keyboard too) while lying in bed!

I got a wireless mouse+keyboard a ways back, and while I still use the keyboard, I switched to a corded mouse. The cordless just wasn't responsive (and was distinctly right-handed!). It would flip out a lot. Plus the batteries in it make it heavy!

Mine is heavy, but it is actually way more responsive than my piece of *junk* USB mouse, which kept disconnecting spontaneously, making it impossible to shut down my computer or use it until it regained responsiveness, sometimes in the middle of the night.

Its possible to do EVERY neccessary task, and even some other ones, using only the keyboard. I can navigate myself around my computer without touching the mouse

I'm a biog fan of wires. My desk has a tendency to eat objects that aren't nailed down,. and a wire helps me find them again!

Only problem is, that pretty-much rules-out Frets on Fire.

Like I've said before, I don't pick up the keyboard. (you could just plug your keyboard into a front usb, and then pick it up)

I have had a couple of wireless mice over the years. They usually burn out quickly and I replace them with USB mice. The current keyboard I'm using to type is wireless; it has held out much longer than usual. It comes in handy when I need to clear some space on my keyboard tray, for example when I set up my laptop to use while simultaneously using my main PC. Why would I need to do that, you might inquire to yourself. Typically it is to watch TV, which is on my PC, while playing a game like Masters of Orion which I know like the back of my hand and don't require total concentration for.

Of course! Sometimes a show isn't good enough to command all of my attention. Or a game is filled with tedious bits that aren't exciting enough. I haven't done it for a while. But it's like having music on while playing a video game. These are turn-based strategy games or relatively cerebral things like Simcity or The Sims mind you. I don't play the intense games like shoot-em-ups.

You can watch TV on a computer. I've seen my Dad do it.

I have both a cordless mouse and keyboard, but I only uses the corded variety. I don't trust cordless - They're hiding their cords, who knows what else could they be hiding?

I use only wires. I wish there was some way to have Wiimotes be wired. I hate changing batteries.

I strongly disagree. I hate being limited by a wire!

How about trapeze wires? They come in handy for those Matrix-like effects.

My sister who uses a wired mouse has to change to batteries every 2 days. The wire on my wired mouse is not limited at all, and it's a very old mouse (I used to have a wireless, but I dug up an old mouse and started using it)

I've had a wireless one along with a wireless keyboard on my family's desktop since we got it, which was about 3 and a half years ago now, and it's worked great the entire time, but it did burn through batteries quickly so we bought a set of rechargeable double-A batteries and a charger for them.
