Default Obama meetings with foreign leaders

So, while browsing the web, I came across an advertisement. Pro-John McCain attack ad. It raised a question I would like to ask everyone here(And because TM has become boring all of a sudden!).

The advertisement in question has a picture of Obama next to a man probably from an "Anti-American" country. Next to that is "Is it OK to unconditionally meet with Anti-American foreign leaders?" and a yes/no button. I checked - regardless of whether you press yes or no, it still sends you to McCains site, with no answer or explanation.

So, what do you guys think? IS it OK?

My opinion - Maybe it's just because I don't understand these things, but I don't see why this is a bad thing. The entire reason I'm going to vote Obama is because it will (probably) greatly improve the worlds view of America, which is a problem right now, considering the person we have had in charge for the last 8 years.

The last thing we need is enemies - especially after going through this war. These meetings will most likely help us resolve whatever issues the other country may have with us.

These anti-american leaders can't be all that bad. Sure, there may be one or two power-hungry crazed dictators, but the majority of the leaders are most likely sane. They aren't evil, or anything. They're human beings. If you were the leader of a country, you'd be anti-anyone-who-is-likely-to-invade-us, too.

Meh, that's just my poorly-informed opinion, though.

What about everyone else? I'd love to hear what you guys think.

P.S. What's with Bush these days? Why aren't we honoring out deal with North Korea and taking them off the terrorist list? Is he trying to get us nuked, or something? >.>

I voted yes because, for some reason, I have the feeling that Obama is actually going to be a good President.
I mean, why are these countries Anti-American in the first place? Suely it is because of bad relationships with former presidents. If Obama is willing to meet up with them, then I'm sure it'll help sort out some of the tense relationships between countries.
Of course, what he really needs to do, if he gets into power, is to actually act. A lot of leaders seems to be all talk but no do. In stead of sorting out little problems one at a time, the leaders of 'the free world' need ot sort out the majo problems affecting the planet, the effects of which will surely help everybody.

So yeah, vote for me!

Bush is a horrible president. He has the lowest approval rating of any president.
I have never heard of anyone say that they want to vote for McCain yet.
Obama just seems like the best vote out of anything that I have heard. I don't follow much with politics except for what I see on the news briefly or what we talk about at work...but everyone seems to prefer Obama over McCain.
And McCain is like 100 years old...

There's a lot of things eviler than talking with French or Korean people, such as continuing senseless wars.

George Washington was British (well, from a place that was considered ''British'' when he was born. )

...because trying to TALK out differences, and reach agreements is WORSE than war!

We need to rethink the way our country handles the world state... We need to stop making other nations strongly dislike us. We need to increase the almost zero percent approval rating (internet cookie if you recognize where I got that from)

Plus, not looking like deadbeats who can't pay back their huge debt... that makes us look better

Refusing to talk to them sounds a lot like small children squabbling. Which is probably a pretty accurate description of world politics.

And to be honest, a lot of these 'Anti-American leaders' are probably only such as America was anti-them first. If you're a little country, you don't get start being nasty to a superpower.

Also, obviously it's fine to like Obama, just make sure you have good reasons, e. i. don't just like him because he's not McCain. What plans has he suggested for the future that you agree with and such?

EDIT: Personally, I don't know who to choose, and I don't want to just flat out say "Yay Obama" because I'd feel like that would simply be going along with the flow.

Well, politics is simply designed, to avoid talking about those complex issues.
