Default So... Loonyboy's Banned...

I certainly hope that was a temp ban... It was obviously hacked by his rude brother. Well anyway, I hope you're here tomorrow!

Default Talk of Bans thread. Yay.

It's a bad stance to discourage others from pirating?
If there wasn't a ban, others might get the idea it was an okay thing to do.

I was abit confused until I saw the title. Smushing all the threads together into one nice little "Talk of bans" thread. Which had me confused for a moment before I realized it.

Anyway, as I said before, if he allows things like that to happen with his account, then there's not much we can do about it other than ban him.

What Loonyboy should do:
Log Out when you leave.
Change your password every couple days.
Convince your brother you've been banned for life so he won't even try something like this again.

Ofcoarse all the above will be quite useless if it is you who has done this, or if this isn't a temp...

Good ideas, expect the 2th would be boring after a while.
Do you think chuck norris is as dangerous as CDL?

Yeah... Not really. He swears, and is insulting, yeah, and also Loonyboy has 3 infractions that I know of so this might be... *sniff* a life ban...

Well, evidently Loonyboy can still contact Jamul via e-mail if he wants to explain what happened.
However, if his brother really wants to be that nasty to him and his friends here, then it could be dangerous un-banning him, for fear that last nights incident could repeat itself. Nobody wants that to happen!

Doesn't matter if it's boring. It's security.
It's just afew minutes taken out of his day every couple of days(if not everyday)

The first step might be enough though, from what I've heard...

Oh, and I would have CDL ANY day over Chuck Norris. At least CDL is nice. Obnoxious, but nice.

CDL is not bad, sure he has had more mutiple accounts than can be named, but he was a nice kid. I mean, he got away with 31337 for months until he admitted it. He stills browse's the forums, I can see him the current users slot sometimes. He is like a ghost, able to see the world, but unable to say a word....

A far more secure solution is just to make a good password, and untick the "Remember Me" box.

Actually, he's on Skype now and then. I talked to him a while ago, and he's browsing the forum all the time because he's stalking me :P But you people really shouldn't be bashing him here (I'm looking at you, TyTBone); If you want to tell him how much of a "pest" he is/was, tell him on Skype, don't say that about him on a forum where he can't defend himself.

On the topic of LoonyBoy, Chuck Norris has tried to get him banned before (sort of - he made a thread telling Jamul to ban LoonyBoy iirc), so if he did use LoonyBoy's account to post that stuff, he most probably didn't do it for fun, or to be obnoxious, but to get his brother banned (with which he was apparently succesful), so you can't really compare him to any infamous "spammers".

Arrow Re: Talk of bans

I went to read Jamul's Journal two days ago, and I came across one of CDL's comments. He was pretty optimistic about the Supremised Spooky Forest.

When he was active as 31337, he never did seem to have any issues with anyone as far as I could recall.

This is the Journal post where I saw his comment: http://hamumu.com/journal.php?entry=1060051858

We'd better stop talking about this. Beating on about memory lane won't help anyone. Not me, not you, and not Jamul.

This is a joke, why are people starting to leave, and since has Loonyboy been banned?

True, but it will be nice for me to understand why other people have been banned so I don't commit the same mistake

P.S: Thankyou for changing the title

His brother hacked his account and posted insane amounts of spam and cruel insults, especially at me.

Yes, at one point he managed to post the same topic in every forum; I even have a screenshot of it.

He was really quite nasty to a few people, as NoFM has mentioned. Luckily, Jamul managed to get in and delete most of the comments before people read them.

EDIT: Just thought that I'd point out that strangely, even though I tried to combat his spamming, he didn't take any direct action against me, not even posting a comment on my profile. Strange, hey?

I'm...not sure what you're asking...?

However, I've noticed that Loonyboy closed his YouTube account. It's strange, he had some subscribers, and was fairly popular... I wonder if it's related to his banning...
