Default Graduation

Hooray! Graduated high school just now.

...Gosh, glad that's over with. The whole graduation process was nearly as tedious as going to school. I wish they could have just handed me my diploma and been over with it.

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to mention this:

I attended an academy graduation [Highland View Academy] this morning [my brother's going there and will graduate next year]. It was nice, but depressing at the same time because it reminded me of all the close friends and great experiences I DIDN'T have during my high school years. :P Bah, oh well...

Meh, wasn't that great. I enjoy non-high school-related stuffs much more.

I won't be graduating until next year; It'll be sad because I have a lot of friends and we're all going to different colleges. Bah!

Congratulations on your achievement, though!

Congrats! Though unfortunately, there's the big scary What now? But you've probably already thought of that. I, however, have not, and I've nearly left school too. Gah!

Yeah.. Because of this whole Occupational Diploma thing, I won't be attending college this year. I'd rather attend having my actual Diploma(Which I will be getting in September after I complete that test.. Is it weird to have two diplomas? :P)

However, a question has to be raised about whether or not it is necessary. I feel that my current project is much, much different than the other bands I've played with, and that this could actually go somewhere. We've only been together for a few weeks now, and already have amassed a somewhat large amount of very good quality songs(Most of which have no lyrics, but lyricwriting is more difficult than songwriting, IMHO) and are trolling around Memphis playing at open mic nights and the occasional paying gig. And we don't even have a drummer or bassist yet!

..I dunno, I'll have to see where we're at in a few months, when I can start applying for colleges again. But if I could pay the bills with music.. That would be heaven for me. The whole "Doing what you love, never working a day" spiel.

Those sound... err, look like great achievements. I, however, (being 14) am graduating to high school in... about a couple weeks.
