Talking I got a marshall!!!!!!

Excuse me if the thread title freaked you out a bit, but today got a second hand115 watt marshall valvestate amplifier from the local guitar shop ROCK electronics! its massive! and loud! it pairs up with my epiphone les paul well too. it was a good find too, because soon they are going to stop manufacturing valve amps, and replace them with rubbish ones. on another note, I recently joined an internet band. theres a drummer, emma, and a singer, rhian (i don't know how to pronounce it either) and not to forget the band manager, nathan. however, there is no bass guitarist yet. thats about all then.

Very nice.. Me, I've been drooling over the PRS SE One vintage cherry model.. As for an amp, I dunno.. A friend gave me a Crate amp a while back, and it works fine for small stuff(Like for when we play at coffee shops, and open mics) but I'd like a Roland Cube for the bigger stuff, so I don't have to keep borrowing the other guitarists amp. It's small, but it can really put out some sound(Or so I've heard.)

..I suppose I should also be looking for an acoustic electric, as technically I play acoustic for the band(Though I always just use my electric with no overdrive.. My acoustic has no plugin.) so I've been looking at this.. It plays nice, and relatively cheap(For a mid-level).. But it's a little too fancy for my liking. And (I think) the back is curved, which I HATE in a guitar.

Also, internet band? How does that work? Do you each record seperate tracks into one big jumble of rocking goodness?

Congratulations! I don't play guitar myself, although most of my friends do, and they've even formed a band. I don't know the name, however...

I did try to play the guitar and form a band, but I wasn't very good, end of story right there.

actualy epiphone is gibson's sister company. they make slightly cheaper versions of their guitars. i have a les paul classic custom, but its eight years old and covered in dents and scratches. the pickups are a bit faulty, too, but over all its a good guitar. unfortunately the amp takes about twenty-five second to start up.

by the way, Im posting from school right now, as its the second last day before the holidays we get to use the computers. anyway, a couple of guys in my classes brought in acoustic guitars. one is playing theirs as i type this.
