Default silly computer problems

oh, yes, they are silly indeed... a while back i bought the elder scrolls IV, Oblivion, game of the year edition... i got around 3/4 of the way through the installation, and it crashed... so, here's the silly part:

the game installed enought to have a startup menu, but didnt install the uninstall button, of course, i cant even run the game, and when i go to "programs and features" to find it, and uninstall it that way, it doesnt even show up on the list! putting my disc in just pops up the startup menu... and now i dont know what to do...

any help would be much appreciated!

To uninstall it, you have to reinstall it fully. If you can't, well, you'd have to give more information about your computer, it could be many things...

or else you can highlight the folder, right click, delete, go to your recycle bin, and manually delete it.

Try right clicking an icon (like the game icon) in the Start Menu folder, selecting Find Target, and going up one folder and deleting the folder you came from.

Ok, another thing to try:
Put in the game disc.
Go to My Computer, right click on your DVD/CD drive and click Open or Explore.
There should be a file (setup.exe probably), run it and the game should install.
