Default Least Favourite Part of SWC Building

What do you like the least about building SWC worlds? Myself, I dislike writing text files. They're important in worlds that have a plot, but I find them boring.

If SwC came with a built-in text editor, then things would be great.

Those are easily defeated by making new levels.

I voted Other. As stated in the other thread, I really don't like making all those tiles in Photoshop before I get to actually make levels :p (That's why I'm often lazy and just take tiles that come with the game :p But some things just can't be done properly without custom tiles.) Ironically, I do enjoy using the tiles once they exist :0

Variables. Seriously. They are almost impossible to understand and master, but to make great levels, you have to know how to use them.

Variables are the most awesome thing there is. The most fun is to twist it into a pretzel to make it work within the limits. (Of course, it would be even more fun if there were just enough variables to begin with.)

I love making variables! That's my favourite thing! The one thing I don't like is not being able to do certain things because of my keyboard, but then again that's not really SWC's fault.

I'd say making .txt files- it isn't hard, but it usually requires me quitting SWC, making the file, saving it, and reopening SWC. It's also somewhat easy to forget when sending the files to WTG.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Ideas for levels will forever remain my least favourite part of world building. Writing text files isn't an issue. Getting tiles isn't an issue. Getting sounds isn't an issue. Creating Specials isn't an issue. Creating custom monsters isn't an issue. It's just getting an idea for a level that slows everything down. By a lot.
