Default Most Influential Games of All Time

In everyone's opinion, what are the most influential games of all time? I enjoy writing, and am experimenting in journalism. I will be writing an article entitled "The 100 Most Influential Games of All Time". I need suggestions on which games should go on there and what order. These aren't everyone's favorite games. It's games that were innovative, insanely popular, and\or industry changing

Here's what I've already got (in no particular order)

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario 64
Pac-Man
Pong
Doom
Halo: Combat Evolved
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter 2
World of Warcraft
StarCraft
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda
Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior in America)
Final Fantasy VII
Sonic the Hedgehog
E.T. the Extraterrestrial
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Half-Life
Portal
Super Mario Kart
Gran Turismo
John Madden Football
Grand Theft Auto 3
Civilization
Dune II
Zork
Ultima Online
EverQuest
System Shock 2
Dance Dance Revolution
Guitar Hero
Rock Band
Farmville
Wii Sports
Nintendogs
Wolfenstein 3D
Monkey Island
Sam & Max
Second Life
Indigo Prophecy
Tetris
Metroid
Adventure
SimCity
Counter-Strike
Goldeneye 007
Resident Evil 4
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Nethack
Little Big Planet
Tennis for Two
Lemmings
52 games

Any suggestions?

Wolfenstien (3D) is close to Doom in what it accomplished, but Doom is better remembered.

I'd add in a Tim Shaefer game somewhere, if you haven't already. (Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, etc.)

Everyone makes a big deal about Shenmue, and Second Life is probably another one to add.

I think it'd be better to take the root games of series, that or the name of the series.

Was Psychonauts really that influential? It was highly praised, but didn't sell very many copies.

Rayman

Maybe the Monkey Island Series

Well, I think its a very good game! I find it fun to control all your little people. Granted, I didn't find Sims 3 as fun as the first 2, but I LOVED both of those!

CS:S gets a mention and Half-Life 2, which introduced the Source engine CS:S runs on, doesn't?
