I like this. It's nice to see that some compnaies are taking a more realistic feel and apperance for music games, but I wonder just how complex this will turn out being... How they'll show the notes for a 25-key keyboard, I have no idea.

Look up the IGN interview. They explain how it's going to be done.

No Black Angels? Well, i suppose that might have to do with the fact that their songs are a minimum of about 5 minutes and a max of about 18...

Umm... this is only 22 out of 83 songs. I have also never seen a request for them on Rock Band's website, and they aren't a huge band, so I doubt we'll see from them.

EDIT: Also, here's the official trailer, featuring Jimi Hendrix's "Crosstown Traffic", Them Crooked Vultures' "Dead End Friends", and The Cure's "Just Like Heaven": http://wombat.platymuus.com/ytembed/?code=nmWJNidyqKM

Yes's "Roundabout" has been leaked at E3! Also, a patent website recently leaked that HMX had licensed Ministry's "Jesus Built My Hotrod" for an upcoming game.

I'm excited about the keyboard, I saw a clip of it, what they have now seems to be a little hard to read, the piano takes up one of the column-things, and the space is divided in 25 for all the keys. As a result, the notes falling down are really small. It'll be interesting.

I thought I saw on one clip there are only about 10 keys (Or something, I didn't count) on at a time, and it scrolls to get to higher/lower keys. Still, with that and the fancy guitar, it's probably how people will learn to play instruments pretty soon.

I do assume that "Rock Lobster" has been trimmed down from 8 minutes, right?

Knowing Harmonix, probably not.

Also, these songs are confirmed:

The B-52s- "Rock Lobster"
Marilyn Manson- "The Beautiful People"
Def Leppard- "Foolin'"
Foreigner- "Cold As Ice"
Tears for Fears- "Everybody Wants To Rule The World"
Filter- "Hey Man, Nice Shot"

Also, this list was leaked a few days before Avenged Sevenfold was confirmed or the Comic-Con songs were released, supposedly by a playtester, giving it credence over other "leaked" setlists, but it still is not confirmed fact. A leak like this has happened before, and normally Harmonix just shifts some of the songs over to downloadable content if it does (for instance, "Holiday in Cambodia" was originally supposed to be on RB2, but someone leaked the setlist so they shifted it to DLC). In fact, the leaker himself said some of this won't be on the setlist even if the leak is true.

Amy Winehouse- "Rehab"
Anthrax- "Caught in a Mosh"
Avenged Sevenfold- "Beast and the Harlot"
Bob Marley- "Get Up, Stand Up"
David Bowie- "Space Oddity"
Devo- "Whip It"
Faith No More- "Midlife Crisis"
Filter- "Hey Man, Nice Shot"
HIM- "Killing Loneliness"
Marilyn Manson- "The Beautiful People"
Queens of the Stone Age- "No One Knows"
Rammstein- "Du Hast"
Slipknot- "Before I Forget"
Steve Miller Band- "Fly Like an Eagle"
Tears for Fears- "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"
Tegan & Sara- "The Con"
The B-52s- "Rock Lobster"
The Beach Boys- "Good Vibrations"
The Police- "Don't Stand So Close To Me"
The Ramones- "I Wanna Be Sedated"
The Smiths- "Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before"
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers- "I Need To Know"
Warren Zevon- "Werewolves of London"

Eurogamer announced 10 new songs. Most of them are foreign songs (meaning non-English) while a few are just random picks.

Bob Marley and the Wailers- "Get Up, Stand Up"
HIM- "Killing Loneliness"
INXS- "Need You Tonight"
Mana- "Oye Mi Amor"
Poni Hoax- "Antibodies"
Rammstein- "Du Hast"
Roxette- "The Look"
Slipknot- "Before I Forget"
Tokio Hotel- "Humanoid"
War- "Low Rider"

In addition, these songs have been confirmed from other sources

David Bowie- "Space Oddity"
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers- "I Need To Know"

Also, apparently a video that showed 76 of the 83 songs in the game was leaked earlier, but Harmonix has been viciously hunting down and censoring any mention of the songs leaked through the video. If I can find it, I'll post it.

EDIT: Found it. Here's the songs. Really, really excited for a few of them.

Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"
At the Drive-In - "One Armed Scissor"
Beach Boys - "Good Vibrations (Live)"
Big Country - "In a Big Country"
Blondie - "Heart of Glass"
The Bronx - "False Alarm"
Deep Purple - "Smoke on the Water"
Devo - "Whip It"
Dire Straits - "Walk of Life"
Dover - "King George"
Echo & the Bunnymen - "The Killing Moon"
Elton John - "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)"
Faith No More - "Midlife Crisis"
The Flaming Lips - "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1"
Golden Earring - "Radar Love"
Hypernova - "Viva la Resistance"
James Brown - "I Got You (I Feel Good)"
John Lennon - "Imagine"
Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Free Bird"
The Muffs - "Outer Space"
Paramore - "Misery Business"
Phish - "Llama"
The Police - "Don't Stand So Close to Me"
Pretty Girls Make Graves - "Something Bigger, Something Brighter"
Primus - "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver"
Queens of the Stone Age - "No One Knows"
The Ramones - "I Wanna Be Sedated"
The Raveonettes - "Last Dance"
Riverboat Gamblers - "Don't Bury Me... I'm Still Not Dead"
The Sounds - "Living in America"
Steve Miller Band - "Fly Like an Eagle"
Swingin' Utters - "This [censored]'s Life"
Tegan and Sara - "The Con"
Warren Zevon - "Werewolves of London"
The Who - "I Can See for Miles"

I am ecstatic to see that Flaming Lips, Primus, Dire Straits, Echo and the Bunnymen and the Cure have finally made the cut! Always great to have another Faith No More song as well.
