Yerfdog Handheld Hamumu games?

Do you guys think Jamul would consider making handheld Hamumu games? It seems like a pretty sweet idea.

You can get a Hand held version of SWC (Sorta)

Do you mean for the Nitendo DS, Or PSP? (Cause that would be sweet )

It would be pretty cool, but making games for a game system like the DS/PSP would probably be too much work, since Jamul would have to work things out with Nintendo/Sony before the game could be published. It also wouldn't be as profitable, since other companies, like the stores that sell the game and the system manufacturer would probably receive part of the profits.

I believe that was somebody else working with Jamul - Jamul making the ideas, the other person actually doing the programming.

If Game Boy Advance were still big, I'll bet Loonyland and Dr. Lunatic Original would be pretty big hits on them. As for DS, Loonyland 2 and Stockboy. Unfortunately, I think Dr. Lunatic SWC would have too many patches, thus making the game on a handheld system anything but possible (Well, maybe not iPod Touch or iPhone).
"Robot wants" games are too small, and deserve where they belong, just as all the freebies do (except Spooky Castle, that would be for GBA).

That's just my view of things.

The enemies, characters and tiles from Dr. Lunatic have too high of a resolution to be accurately displayed on the Gameboy Advance. Maybe it would work on the DS, if all the game data was made to fit on the tiny cartridges the system uses. At the very least the sounds would have to be converted to "cheaper" formats otherwise they would take up too much space. Finally, I used to have this really old computer that was about as fast as say, three Nintendo DSes, and Supreme with Cheese frequently lagged on it.

I don't know how different the performance requirements of SwC are compared to Dr. Lunatic, but if they're anything similar, the DS might not be able to run the game without serious optimization. The 3DS would definitely be able to run it if it had enough storage space.
