That one seems like it could cause problems.

/ignore [username]

Stops showing text from the given user. (Seriously, who hasn't wanted this at some point?!?)

Yeah, but then it would look weird at sometimes.
Here's an example:

[Person #2 saying a bunch of annoying things]
Person #1 types in: /ignore person#2
[Person #2 is now ignored by Person #1]
Person #3: Really?!? Cool!!!!
Person #4: Yeah, that IS awesome!
Person #1: what? what is it?
Person #3: CLICK ON PERSON#2'S LINK!!!!
Person #1: oh.. um... yeah, cool! (pretending)

(also,
/listen [username] (Un-ignores someone)
/mute [username] Won't make that sound whenever someone posts something in the chat (For only that user)
/mute all but [username] Will only make the sound whenever [username] posts something, not any one else
)

@Redbone: I have no Idea what you're talking about, but That 'vote' thing got me into the word 'poll'.
------
/poll title="Which is better?" answer="Twilight" answer="Harry Potter"
What ^that^ shows: (underlined means a button)
[Username] has created a poll.
Which is better?
Twilight <- Vote for This
Harry Potter <- Vote for This
Don't Vote

If you click "Vote for This" with the Twilight answer:
[Username] has created a poll.
Which is better?
Your vote=Twilight
POLL RESULTS:
Twilight ~ 3 Votes (You, [Username], and [Username2])
Harry Potter ~ 8 Votes ([Username3], [Username4], [Username5], See all)
Don't show this poll[/COLOR="RoyalBlue"]
If you click on Harry Potter, well then, The same up there ^ but with you voting for harry potter (and twilight would have 2 votes)
-
If you click on "Don't Vote":
[COLOR="rgb(65, 105, 225)"]Instead I want to Vote

If you click on "Don't show this poll":
[COLOR="rgb(65, 105, 225)"]Show this poll[/COLOR]

Votekick is to have a vote to kick someone, so users who disobey the rules can be kicked out without requiring a moderator's presence, but require people to agree on the kick.

Redbone's suggestion doesn't seem very unnecessary. Also, /snowball and /rumbly tumbly

that one is really the only good one here. /ignore has potential, but I can see certain users using it immaturely to go like "blah blah, I'm not listening anymore" or out of childish rage, or something else like that. plus, it doesn't feel very nice to be ignored.

the whole idea of /doing is easily done by typing /me is currently [activity here] or something. and the hidename thing will only cause confusion, such as redbone pretending to be the great pumpkin calling for help on halloween, or such shenanigens like that. and don't get me started on the /poll one. afaik, thats not even close to being possible on a text only hamchat.

/snowball and rumbly tumbly are sort of pointless. the entire reason the rolypoly one exists is because its a gag on the /roll command.

/poke [username]

Plays a poke sound to that user, to get their attention. (is written in the text area so others know said user has been poked, and so prevent sound spamming a user without admin knowledge

That could be made use of. There are a lot of times when I'm (or somebody else) trying to tell somebody something but there are not on the chat so they don't notice.

Personally, I'd rather have a noise when your username is said.

Me and SM tried that, but it somewhat fell apart for reasons I can't remember.

The only problem I have with it in flash is that I'm on Firefox 7, and Flash doesn't like Firefox 7. If I was on an earlier build, then I'd be able to use the HamChat, but I like my Nightly
