Just something I thought of (and said) in the chat. Opinions!

Still stockpiling an arsenal. I'm still lacking in some items at the moment.

Of course if you DO just park yourself on the page, you'll perhaps be ill equipped, but you'll have a nice payout of raffle tickets for the 0 effort put in(Well, beyond devoting a computer to run it all day long, of course!)

On a more serious note...
How often do you update the predictor? Every time I check there always seems to be a pony that happened 10+ hours ago listed.....

AFAIK, you need to hurt the pony to get a raffle ticked, see my post before about revolution doing exactly what you just said.

Right, I forgot to address that:
If you want to park on the page all day, an autoclicker might help.

Well since Blue Dwarf's autoclicker comment apparently inspired Jamul to reverse his position and ban Revolution from the field, I might as well explain.

Basically, last year, near the end of the event (when there were still zero prizes), I rigged up a bot to reside in the fields and measure the time of pony appearances, to aid with Sonicchaos's pony predictor. As a fun side effect I was able to measure how often people got items. I figured it was okay since there were no prizes and the bot lurked, meaning it only got items in the case of a disconnect. However, when I realized it was stealing Regeneratorizer uses, I rigged it to fire hammers at the same rate an ordinary player could.

This year I dusted it off and brought it back out again, hoping to be helpful prior to 5 days before the field vanished. What didn't occur to me was that since the bot did damage and was constantly present, it was in fact garnering raffle tickets for every pony stomped. In fact, I didn't even realize anything was going on until it was brought up in this very thread. I was going to post something like this, but Jamul beat me to it. I kept quiet, planning to ask Jamul to discount Revolution from the raffle near the end of the event without a lot of public fuss, but it looks like that's out of the question now.

And there you have it. Apologies for any inconvenience caused to anyone.

Unfortunately, I've been really busy the past week or so, and thus haven't really been able to update the site that much. Good news is, since I'm using a different method of predictions than I have in the past, I can predict ponies far in advance without the accuracy loss the old system used. I'll be posting predictions for the next couple ponies on the site from now on, so that way, I don't need to update it as often.

EDIT: Updated. I believe that's the next 10 ponies. All times are in Jamul Time (PST). Note that ponies that are abnormally early or late (less than 2 hours or more than 4 hours between ponies) have a chance to throw off the prediction immediately following that pony, however, the predictions following that next prediction aren't affected as much.

The Regeneratorizer doesn't work on peers who are attacking?

It's being wasted on people who aren't helping at all. By having it fire hammers, it at least deals some damage and doesn't completely waste regen uses.

I am disappointed in the general attitude of "We don't have enough people"
There were 10+ people fighting a pony that just came, and we lost.
Why?

Because people were saying "I instadie when I enter, so I'm not even going to try"
Have you guys never fought a pony before? I'm confused...

Then there's the first responders to a pony call. Apparently if there's not a bunch of people within the first minute, you should just quit.

You guys need to just stick in there. We had enough people to take that pony just now, but no one wanted to stick around for 2 minutes to wait for more fighters.
There was plenty of people, though you'd never guess if you weren't watching the whole time, since people seemed to cycle in and out of the field in groups of three.

It was really disappointing.

Then they try to lecture me on pony strategy... Well: You've been losing ponies all week, despite having sufficient manpower in more than this last case. Your strategy isn't working!
(Especially the leave to come back with full health... That's the silliest plan of them all, especially when you think you don't have enough people.)

I can tell you that health is highly overrated. You're actually much safer at 1 life than anything more (watch closely and you will see!). Every time I enter, if there's a pony present, I die instantly from full health. But if I then wait until I pop back up a few seconds later, I can fire several shots before I die again... unless I have a shield, in which case I can last days and days (approximately).
