*AHEM*

Come on Spacemaniac and Jamul, for once you're having one active group who cares about testing worlds and getting them on the site ASAP. At least take it into schedule.

Spacemaniac,
We need a new generated REPORT. SS8RP and A Quick Adventure have been okayed by the same members who tested it again.

Jamul:
Once Spacemaniac makes a new generated REPORT, please package the worlds and send them off to the site.

These worlds have been sitting around for a month now, when will Jamul publish them? :O

While I'd love to see new content for SWC being pushed out as much as anyone else, we have to keep in mind that Supreme was released back in 2003. There are very few (if any) other 11-year games that still get any kind of support from the dev, particularly not when the dev is a smaller developer with considerably less resources than large development studios and publishers.

SWC simply doesn't bring in much revenue these days, and any time spent on it is valuable time taken away from other projects that are bringing in (or have the potential to bring in) revenue - revenue which is needed for Jamul to support himself and his family. I'm not saying it's all about the money, by no means, but, when you have limited resources as a dev and have to work to support yourself, the projects that will support you and your family have to take priority over the projects that don't. Support for an 11-year old game just isn't one of those high-priority projects, nor should it be.

Oh, I guess now I see the light. I guess I have to let go and go with the flow. Well thank you for that eye-opener Sonicchaos.

By no means am I saying to let SWC die or anything of the sort. It's awesome to see people still passionate about the game and making worlds for it 11 years after SWC's release. We just have to realize that there just isn't as much time for official support and updates for the game as there used to be, and be patient.

Should you add an extra parameter maybe, such as replay value? Or is that completely useless?

While it's may seem tempting to clog everything up with more vague scores, if you want to actually test worlds, you need to FOCUS:

FUNCTIONALITY: A SWC world needs to work and be 100%able.
OBSCENITY: The world needs to be Hamumu friendly.
COPYRIGHT: The world can't contained anything that violates copyright law.
UNITY: More than one person should think that the world is fine.
SANITY: Make sure the world has a reasonable difficulty on both Normal and Hard.

Sorry, but I don't spot any sarcasm there. What he's saying is just bluntly true.

I believe the first half of the sentence, before the comma, qualifies as sarcasm.
Unless he is truly tempted to clog up the process intentionally.

The rest is pretty straight forward and true though. I liked the acronym.

Okay, I now understand. Well, us members at the ATC are slowly clearing the back logs, all that needs to be done is for...
>Spacemaniac to fix the bugs in his HH13 world and add some novel changes to his HH14 world
>DJ Fondoo, has to fix some major issues.

And the only worlds for now that have to be tested are:

LL2_Frostbite

and...

SUP_HH13RR

I think you Spacemaniac, should get cracking with fixing your bugs and refining your two worlds, it would be a waste of the tester's time not doing anything. Just saying!

And is DJ Fondoo ever going to come back?

I hate always being the one saying it, but a lot of us are rather busy doing other things, and I presume that covers SM too. He may be too busy to work on them. Please be understanding of these things.

I worked on fixing a bunch of HH13 stuff a while ago but didn't send it in since I wasn't done. I've forgotten what I still needed to do but I went ahead and posted the changelog and updated world zip so it's there to be looked at again if you'd like.

There's only one review for my HH14 and I haven't reviewed it thoroughly; I shall do so if/when I have an opportunity.

Good job with fixing some of your bugs, but there are just two left, I am sure these won't take so long to fix:

Rise Of The House Of Mushroom: Again, a better hint please, maybe you should do a poem when the player bumps into a sign or something like that:

Not using a hammer is good!
It would reward you if you would!

The ryhming scheme for this short one is A,A, and both are 8 syllables! If you would like to, you could use mine!

The second problem is with the keychain level, I can't find the yellow key!

I think this whole community testing thing was three years too late, I don't think this section will ever recover.

Thumbs up

It seems the world folder has completely disappeared from my dropbox folder. Anyways, I'm looking for worlds to test out, so is there an updated list of things that need to be reviewed? I'm avoiding the Loonyland II one for now because I'm right in the middle of madcap.

I would especially like to test some worlds utilizing the new 8.0 features, so if there's anyone out there with a new world, post it!

My HH13 world? https://www.dropbox.com/s/dnb2vv9bqx...sup_hh13rr.zip I've tried getting this one tested by Redbone, but apparently, he hasn't replied to any of my messages, so I am still looking for a tester. I would be very appreciative if you could give constructive feedback on my world. My HH13 world utilized some of the new features in 8.0d.

Spacemaniac's worlds has pretty much been tested and is now waiting for the leftover of bugs to be fixed.
