Default Linux Computer!

Okay, so I was at a thrift shop and I was testing out random $5 computers into $5 monitors, when all of a sudden I booted up one and Linux Ubuntu was on it! I got it, and now I'm posting from it. But I'm trying to do some things. First, getting flash, so I can use the hamchat and play random flash games. I clicked "Install Plugin..." in the hamchat, and then installed "YUM for Linux" and now what do I do what that file. It's an .rpm file.

A .rpm file is an installer package, but it's not in a generally Ubuntu-friendly format (you want .deb files for that). YUM is a program for managing .rpm packages and has nothing to do with Flash specifically, which you can get here (pick the correct Linux, then the Ubuntu choice).

Thanks SM.

Calthax: I'm assuming so since you can get Minecraft for Linux.

@SM: I downloaded the "APT for Ubuntu" and now I have no idea what to do with that file. I still have it, but I decided to check the Ubuntu Software Center and I searched "Flash" and installed the "Adobe Flash Plugin" (Installer for the Adobe Flash plugin for Mozilla) but anything that uses flash just doesn't show. For example, the hamchat is just white. A youtube video is just white. A flash game online is just white.

I need help either setting up the APT thing directly from Adobe or fixing the firefox plugin from the software center.
