Default Tile Experimentation

I want to work with tiles, so, if you have any themes in mind, let me know and I will get to work and try to at the very least just get practice from working with tiles. My plan is to share these tiles on the Amazing Building Cooperative for everyone to use in world creation. Since there hasn't been a whole lot of production, I thought I would try contributing to making it easier. So, feel free to use this thread to throw ideas at me anything you can think of, then I will see what I can come up with. I am not experienced at the moment, but my cousin is working with pixels because he is creating a video game (his first ever), maybe I can take some advice from him, he might have some ideas for making it look good, although it seems like a rather simple job, the only thing being the problem is the tediousness of the job. Maybe eventually I will even go up to jsp files. I have never tried that.

Tables are what I'd like most. Maybe some Dummy Text for putting on buildings that would have signs that you have to see head on.

Some may call it being busy, others may call it being lazy, but the point is, I can't seem to find the time for this right now and this is kind of a lost cause now because I have come to the conclusion that I was thinking too big when I made this thread.

I'll try and give the Nazca lines a crack, using the power of GIMP!! It shouldn't be that hard. Take away the scale, Get rid of the black lines at the end. Have a layer open in GIMP, 320x240, have the desired tile from the tile directory and copy and paste it over and over again until it fills the layer. Resize the Nazca plains image to 320x240, move it to another layer, use the magic tool to remove the white to make it transparent, zoom in to do all the tedious works, or, select various areas to remove the white, and then zoom in to do the small but tedious work of removing ugly and excess pixels. At the end, we have our image, export it to a simple PNG file. Then use the magic of LunaticPal to convert it to an actual 256-Bitmap. And wuala, load it into the game, and have fun.

Well, wish me luck on that. It should take some time because I have to redownload GIMP.
