How do you take screenshots? Print Screen then hurry to paint? A button you haven't told us about (like g for gamma)? or screenshot software?

I'm making a surprise but I need screenshots.

Paint Shop Pro has a great feature for doing screenshots (screen capture). There is some way to do them with print-screen that everybody always uses, I think it may be built into windows. Regardless, when you want to do them, I recommend you use the top secret feature of Dr. Lunatic, windowed mode. What you do is create a new shortcut to Dr. Lunatic (right click on "lunatic.exe" and select Create Shortcut), then edit the properties of the shortcut (right click on the new shortcut, select Properties), to change the target to have "window" at the end (without quotes). For example, if the target of your short cut is "C DrLunatic\lunatic.exe", you would change it to "C DrLunatic\lunatic.exe window".

This makes it run in a window on the desktop instead of full screen. Seems to make doing screenshots easier (lately, my copy of PSP has decided to crash if I try to take full screen screenshots, so it's very handy for me).

Thanks,

I knew you could hit print screen then paste it into any paint program, but that's kind of hard with full screen. Even though I don't have Paint Shop that window thing still helps a lot.

Random tip that goes with this: Print Screen + alt=Copy selected window only!!!

Thought you might like that since you said your Paint Shop is acting quirky.

You learn something new every day! I was under the impression that the Print Screen button didn't really have a function any more as I have received spam about a program that reactivates it to the pre-W95 days when hitting the Print Screen sent the display to the printer. Nice to know the button is more than just decoration. Might have to use it in the next world.
