Default The Pivot Stick Animation Topic!

There are lots of threads with various Pivot animations floating around, so I decided to make this thread. Put 'em in one place, I say!

For those of you who don't know Pivot is (although I guess I answered that in the topic name), here's a link.

And here are two of my animations.

Wizard #1

Wizard #2

Highway Wars - Unfinished, and I don't intend on finishing it either. And by the way, if you couldn't tell, the first scene is a top-down view.

Lightning FTW! - Yeah.

I would have liked to have said that in my own words, but Atkins already said that. With Roland's there's something...... missing.

What's missing? Yeah, I know they aren't very lengthy, but I put a lot of effort into the backrounds and effects for both of them.

And yes, I've got some new ones:

Cool face - The physics on the first ball are terrible, but overall I like it.

Default Messing - BTW, if you didn't know, the "default" is the stickman that appears as soon as you enter the program

Soldier Summon - This started off as an explosion, then... I dunno. I'm still proud of it.

Running - I kinda like it. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe. Yeah.

Running?
I was going to post this anyway.
RUNAWAY!
That's way to slow.
Or maybe
RUNAWAY! with scissors

Hey, that's not bad! It's a bit choppy, what frame delay are you using? Like, when you save it as a gif file, what number is the frame delay? If, when in the Pivot program, the speed bar is normal (in the centre) it should be a frame delay of 6. 100/16.6 (the normal FPS rate) equals 6. But you got a good loop on the first one. The legs were good, but the forearms didn't move at all. They looked stuck into a 45 degree angle. The head movement was a nice touch. On the scissor one, the legs were nicely done, smooth and well eased. The arms looked a bit all over the place, but maybe it was just me. Oh, and you probably all don't know what easing is - I'll explain.

Easing is when you gradually, over the course of several frames, build up the speed of a limb or whatever you're moving. Think of it like a car speeding up: It starts off slowly, but gets faster. No easing, makes the figure look like a robot. I guess that's okay for robot animations though. This also applies when it slows down. Here are some examples:

1. No easing:

2. Easing:

See what I mean? You weren't doing anything wrong, I just need to point this out. It is critical for a good animation. And I'll refer to it and... STUFFZ!

You probably have to change it to a gif.

I have it at 1/100, as fast as it can go. I don't understand why he isn't running incredibly fast.

WOAH! That's way faster than you can actually test on the pivot program itself! Don't do that! You're lucky it was the uber choppy Imageshack, so host it somewhere else. Tinypic.com works well for me. And you don't have to sign up an account. You don't want anybody running that fast! That looks as though it should be a frame delay of 6. Definitely not 1! That means 100 FRAMES PER SECOND!

When you are saving the animation you get to choose what file type it is. You can't convert it to a gif, just save a copy of your animation as a gif.

EDIT: As of this post I am a Dumb Person!!!

I've got some new ones (please comment. I've only recieved one, and I've posted, like, 10 animations now):

Playing Around 1 - I was playing with a stick pack from a guy called Highly on another forum. So credit to him for all the sticks except the ground.

Playing Around 2 - Credit to Highly again for everything except the face. I made that.
