Default Your Opinions Truly Do Matter

Since they do, would people mind giving me feedback on The Hot Desert? Was it too easy, too hard to understand, was it too easy to die on The Oasis, and other such questions?

Your feedback helps.

Level by level:

Desert Wasteland: I liked this one, especially the yellow keys.

Iraqi Oil Fields: fun, very clever

The Oasis: very hard at first until I figured out how to quench my thirst!

Scorchin': too easy

It's a Mirage, etc.: see Scorchin':

Hub:

So, I thought two levels were fun and clever, one medium fun and clever, and the other two were too easy. All in all, a balanced world. Next time make a bigger world, OK?

Level by level:

Desert Wasteland: I like levels with lots of stuff, to pick up. SpiderPumpkin had one in his WW3 and I thought it was fun, even though I could never beat it. This is even more fun because it's possible to win!

Iraqi Oil Fields: fun

The Oasis: Clever idea on the water drinking! Would have liked to see transition tiles between the sand and the water. Yes, I know there aren't any. I was just hoping to inspire somenoe to go to the trouble or creating some!

Scorchin': Clever trick with not allowing enough time to get both the candles and the brains, but a little easy

It's a Mirage, etc.: Clever name and idea, but a little on the easy side

Hub: I might have liked to see a little more something!

Overall a fun world, but left me wanting a little more? Whose idea was it to make a small world anyway?

I'm pretty sure it was yours.

I, along with PoP, remembered a post of yours about how worlds could be short and fun at the same time. So, there you go.

I liked it. I thought it was good. I'd give a level-by-level breakdown but mine would be very similar to Christian's. So I'll just second her comments!

I made some for Weirdsconsin. They're not a complete set, and they don't look too good (that's being charitable, in fact), but the water animates.

I did make some pretty nice sets of grass/water transition tiles, and snow/water tiles. I'll send them to anyone who wants them.

Me too, MMMB. I made a sand/water tile once, but it wasn't that great. jblake@sanz.com.

Thanks!

BTW, I'm getting tired of being dropped from the high scores/times list because of McMonkeyMcBean! :?

The ideas of Iraqi Oil Fields were clever, having to win it before getting the candles and squash. Second-time candles and KCs should be used more. (But only in small levels.)
Overall, a good world. But as already said, it ended too soon.
