Default To all my friends in England

My friends,
you have my sympathy and prayers during this barbaric and horrendous
time. I hope none of you have suffered any losses with you or your famly and friends. We all joke and fool around here, but at this time I have to be serious and extend a hug across the Atlantic Ocean and promise you, everything will be ok soon. I dont agree all the time with my president (Bush), but he is still my country's leader, and I have to support him in his erratic, but well meaning actions.

OUr countries, will band together and fight this...stupidity. I dont believe this, "If you can't see my situation, then feel my pain" philosophy. It is load of (edited), and cannot be tolerated in a civilized world. We have to just do the one thing they hate most...be ourselves, go about our business, shrug it off, and and laugh at thier child-like mentality, their
inability to "grow up" and thier ill-will toward anyone who doesnt believe like they do.

Muslims are our friends, but the ones who pervert that religeon to suit their needs, are the one to blame. Not all Muslims. A small group calling themselves "The Secret Organization of al-Qaida in Europe" has claimed
responcibility for this. If it's true, that is.
We even have American terrorists too (Cough...Oklahoma City..cough).

Look, I am not proud USA has some problems (what country doesnt?), but it is MY country, and England is where the USA came from. So that make England our cousins (once removed). AND NO ONE MESSES WITH OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Duck is very upset, as you can tell....

So I will end with this message: Don't blame anyone yet. Just send one message to them. You bombed us, but you didnt hit us and you missed our heart.

-Ducky (Stay strong, my friends)

Luckily, I don't think anyone I know was hurt!
But then, lots of people were!

Because I was at school I didn't know about the incident untill just now, when I heard it on the radio!

It is really terrible what happened and I hope that nothing like it happens again!

I think Blair is madder than Dr. L. Leaving the G8 and returning to London after the bus and rail systems were shut down and the 7 explosins.
On the news it said

Thanks Ducky for your very kind (and true) words. I'm lucky I live so far away (Up North, just south & over the water from Liverpool), but I do have family down South living in and around London.

My brother In Law should have been in the middle of it all this morning but 'fortunately' he has been off sick this week. He apparently was going back in today but he couldn't get out of bed. Blinkin good job I say! He has a wife and 3 children. I haven't heard anything from my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, second cousins or third cousins (!!!) yet but I think I would have heard something by now if anything had happened to them.

I know 'World Peace' is usually a beauty Queen thing but I trully hope that one day all this nonsense will end and everyone can let everyone else live in their own way whatever their colour, religion, belief or status. Each to their own.

Peace x

It was a terrible thing to happen, but in a way we kind-of deserve it.

Over the past months many Iraqi civilians have been bombed by America and Britain, with many children mutilated. As my dad said, if he'd been planning the bombing today, he'd have done a lot worse.

I'm not blaming anyone here, but our governments and their innability to see sense.

Bombing Iraq?!? We are not supposed to be in there anyway!

The goverment are thinking about initiating China into the G9.

Until the G8 make poverty history then this world will never see the end of terrorisom.

My deepest sympathies as well. I hope our British forum members and families are okay.

The murderers responsible will fail in whatever they intended to do; the British people have seen darker days than this and prevailed in the end.

Hopefully we will take some effective action and stop outrages like this from happening again.

I, too, extend my deepest sympathy to any and all who were hurt or traumatized by this situation! It should not have happened and should not be allowed to disrupt our lives. This is what terrorists want and need to feel "special". My prayers are with everyone who was or is in harm's way.

Man, Terroism stinks...
Why can't all the world leaders come to their senses?
Maybe the war on terror was actually a plot to get re-elected? (After all No one really wants to switch leaders during bad times! They had to limit president terms because of that...)

To take hope from a T.V. Comedy
. They have this thing called 'Uniy Day' (United Day?) on Disney's Phil of the Future, on one of the episodes. It mentions that it wouldn't happen for another 100 years... Man that would rock if that happened! (Probabally will, because Oil will most likely run out by then... And maybe from another episode: The milk Powered Engine [MOOO!])

Note: Disney is kina wacky: They say 'new episode' when they have shown it several times . And now they say that the NEW Kim Possible Movie is the FIRST original animated movie... What happened to Lilo And Stitch? The other Kim Possible Movie?
Maybe it's just my local cable provider... After all, they messed up the credits of Nick...

Okay Rant over...

P.S.: The Ducks back! Yay!

The images published in the newspapers yesterday were horrific. Blood was splattered up 30 ft on buildings, Buses torn to shreds and ppl screaming and crying.

It just makes me wonder why someone would actually do this. Killing innocent people.

It also scares me that London is the city I live in. I was on a bus THE SAME TIME when the bus/ train bombs went off.

I'm supporting the iraq war all the way on.

Since then, there have been two hoax bomb scares!
One in Liverpool (I think?) :?
And one in the Castle Mall, in out home town, Norwich.

the latest news is that the bombers were suicide bombers - one as young as 19 and were born in this country with no previous criminal record. I can't believe it, its too scary, what is the world coming to? Of course, we don't know how much truth there is in these stories, but it was on the news this morning (although they don't always get things right!)

Well, at least this particular attack wasn't as bad as the 9/11 attacks which were much worse.

Or the madrid train bombings

Or the Beslan school attack

Or the suicide attacks that happen in other countries every week.

All attacks are bad. It doesn't matter if one person is killed or 100 people are killed or injured. The fact that there are people in the world who like to kill other innocent people who are going about their day to day business is what is wrong. Wherever in the world it happens.
