Default Who is the World Tester Guy?

Everyone says he's the guy who tests worlds before they can be uploaded to the Hamumu site. But who is he when he isn't testing worlds? Is he a good friend of Jamul or someone Jamul hired from the streets? Is he Yerfdog in disguise or one of the dedicated posters in disguise?

I MUST KNOW! It's driving me nuts...

That's an easy question. He's an alien who looks like a globe with feet and a face. No disguise or anything.

I bet it's the one and only Sol. Who else would be good for the position other than Jamul's own wife? Think about it, she's a person he trusts, and it would be easy to "forward" worlds. :P

You're on to something. But wouldn't the World Tester Guy be the "World Tester Gal" if it were Sol?

Here's a direct quote from the glossary of the editor instructions:

World Tester Guy
The mysterious shadowy figure at Hamumu (not Mike or Sol Hunt!) who tests your add-on worlds and gives you feedback. When WTG gives a world the thumbs-up, we put it up on the website for everyone to download!

and unless i'm mistaken, she said she wasn't the best of players.

my guess is Mark Stevens or TDM.

or maybe one of the other indie developers Mike links to in the links section.

Anyway, as far as we know, WTG's identity has never been revealed to anyone outside of Hamumu Software. No hints or clues have ever been given, so any guessing on our part is pure speculation and nothing more, aside from the straightforward fact that it's definitely not either of the two people mentioned above. I suspect that the day WTG's true identity is revealed will be the same day Supreme goes open-source.

TDM is a world builder...
Oh and I read somewhere that World Tester Guy might be more than one person...

Yeah, TDM is indeed a world builder. A female world builder, so she'd also qualify for "World Tester Gal," like Sol Hunt.

Hope we get the answer soon...

I remember WTG once mentioned other testers in an email. So it's not just one guy, for all we know some of our best builders could be WTGs!

Well, even if there was more than one WTG, it had to start out with just one. I want to find out the one World Tester Guy that started it all!

The poll results seem to indicate that there is more than one WTG, unless someone is lying. If we assume there's just one, only three people should know who he is (Mike, Sol, and WTG himself). Note that I use "himself" because the title is "World Tester Guy", unless that is simply a trick to throw off casual curiosity.

It's time for the myth debunker to debunk some myth's!

Debunking Time!

In fact, the person who owned pantsofpower.com, Mark Stevens, who I did suggest above, is a different person than the forum user pantsofpower, who happens to have the initials TG.

Whoah, Dave... did I just see you capitalize the first letter of a sentence? *rubs eyes* No, it can't be.

EDIT: Actually, I guess you have been doing that more often nowadays. Got your shift key repaired?
